I would by another one if needed
I made a left handed self bow and I'm trying to learn to shoot. The bow and tab are working great. Me , not so much!
Nice slick tap
I bought this three under tab in a medium left hand. I wear a medium size glove and it seems just about. Cordovan leather is the way to go. Much better, smoother than the tab I was using before.
Too short and fat, rough edges
I ordered a large which is my normal size but its too short and fat. Its almost as wide as all four of my fingers but still leaves my ring finger tip exposed. I got a nasty blister from the string hitting my fingertip. Also the corners of the tab where the third layer is sewed on are super rough. I got a big red mark on my first few shots. I had to cover it with mole skin. I… read more will have to order something else as this is unusable for me.
Excellent Tab!
Fantastic release! Very comfortable, and smooth release every time. 3 Down for life ;)
I would buy this product again and again.
Well constructed.
Great tab!
I use mine for 3-D competition. It would work great for any application from hunting to plinking. It will give you a clean release if you do your part and it will last a long time. A very good value!
Great 3 under tab
After measuring my hand it fell in the medium range, then I reading all the reviews it seemed quite a few said the tab ran small so order a larger size so I did. After receiving my tab and shooting it for a couple of days I decided to order a medium should have done that in the first place. Very happy with the tab gave the large to my son he has bigger hands than i do.
More durable, thicker upgrade to the hair tab I have used
As I was learning to shoot last year, shooting 60-80 arrows 3-4 times per week, I was a using and wore out 3 hair tabs for my 47# target bow. Also I had developed a slight tingling in my fingers which I attributed to the thin hair tabs. This January I switched to the cordovan tabs - they are much thicker, and for me much more comfortable. They did require a short break-in period,… read more as well as my adapting to a different feel. It is now 10 months later (3000+ arrows maybe?) and I am still using the same tab. It is not yet worn half way. I bought a 2nd tab for my 57# hunting bow. Shooting with that cordovan tab is also very comfortable on my fingers.
I would not buy this again
I'm sure this is a great Tab. Feels great on my hand and looks well made. But it throws my arrow to the left about 18 inches at 15 yards. Not a very smooth release. I tried putting it in different position in my hand with all the same result. I thought i was going to like this tab because i shoot well string walking. I also have very big hands I went with a large instead of XL.… read more The tab is still wider the my 3 fingers. I am not going to return it though because I want to cut the tab so it is the width of my fingers and try it. It could just be to stiff and need some breaking in but after 4 times at the range. Think I need to go back to the glove.
It sounds like you need a larger tab, but also check your finger alignment. One trick is to press your fingers against your chest to align the finger tips. As your middle finger should not be higher then the other fingers (if the case). You can always trim a tab if it is too large for your other fingers as well.
The loop only goes around the middle finger. The other loops are for adjustment to keep it snug to your finger.

The large is 3 X 2.25 and the medium is 2.25 X 2.75.
I have the Eichler 3 Under and the medium is about 2.75" wide. Not sure about the length because I trimmed mine down. My three fingers together are about 2.25" at the first crease, so I have about a medium sized hand. The Eichler is a great tab. The leather over the finger design feels better than the ones that have elastic.
The medium tab is 2 3/4'' tall, 2'' wide and 1 1/8'' of shooting part of the cordovan
I would stick with a large usually you need the same size tab has your glove.
I found the xlarge better fitting, these tabs run small. I have a large that keep as a spare and the xlarge that I use every day. I don,t know if I,ll live long enough to wear out one of these tabs. I love them. Sent from my iPad
Great tabs ... Last for long time. I think the large would be fine, but sizing can be tricky. I prefer less tab than more, but that's my Idiosyncratic view. Later ... Sent from my iPhone
I wear a large glove and bought a large tab. It works great.

Yes
On this brand it is made of Cordovan leather; which is very durable and will give years of life to the tab - even with lots of shooting.
I own this tab, and yes, the part of the tab that butts up against the string is made of leather. It's a good tab. I have use it for string walking; I have seen better shooters than me add a piece of aluminum or steel plate to the piece you are referencing, so that the string sits against a harder stop. Steve
