I would not buy again
Wanted something that would match my broadhead weight so I could tune my arrows. The weight was good but points were not straight
Solid tips
These tips are great for target shooting. They are easy to pull out of targets and are extremely durable when attached to a brass insert and good carbon arrow.
A+
I use these with my 75# ABS Qarbon Nano and Fred Eichler Easton Axis 300 arrows cut at 29.75". They are consistant and do what they're supposed to do. I feel it's a perfect setup for dangerous or extremely large, large game(with my Ashby broadheads of course).
No. No. Nope...
I've been shooting around 315 grains up front for quite a while, so I'm fully accustomed to it. However, as soon as I threaded these irrationally expensive points into my Easton Super Slams, I was getting a corkscrew flight pattern on a few of the arrows. Wondering whether I had bent those lovely shafts somehow, I threw them on my spin tester; first with, then without the points.… read more As I suspected, the Super Slams (which are the straightest shafts in the industry; .001 straightness tolerance) were still straight as a proverbial arrow, but there was quite a discernible wobble in the points themselves. Maybe it's difficult to make such a long point, or something, but no matter. I'm going back to smaller points and a back-loaded shaft.
Very well made
Good practice tip for the ABS Ashby BH, but would be better if it was 3/8 diameter to match the Ashby ferrule diameter.
They are 1 3/4" from the back of the head to the tip..
2.5 inches overall, 1.7 inches sticking out of the arrow shaft.
2 9/16 overall. 1 3/4 point only. Get BlueMail for Android
The 315 grain field points will be slightly larger due to them being 11/32 field points.
The thread size will work with your inserts, but the outside diameter of the point will be larger than the outside diameter of the shaft.
Alaska bow hunting supply makes them field points.
Alaska Bowhunting Supply. Same as your broadheads.
Alaska Bowhunting Supply, but they only make their points in one diameter.
These points are 11/32.
