Great set up
Easy to install on the bow. Simple use of the reel. Built well. Just a great all around product.
Great Kit, Good Value
Every thing but the bow and the fish for Bowfishing. Line comes out of the reel with no drag and the arrow is heavy for deeper targets in the water.
Good Product
These reels have made bow fishing fun again.
Amazing reel
i started using this product on a compound and recently started using it on a recurve it has worked flawlesly for me and wouldnt choose any other style reel to shoot
Bowfishing at its best
awesome bowfishing rig, the only thing missing was a arrow holder, should have a built in clip for the arrow for easy transport!
I don't speak English, but good product.
For fishing.
Best for Bowfishing !
This is the best bowfishing system I have ever used ... and I did try the cheaper models ! No deflection or interverance with the arrow's flight at all. I use it for carp, barbel and bass and enjoy every bowfishing trip.
I would buy it again
Simple to use easy to install.
IT'S THE FISHING KIT I EVER HAD
VERY EASY TO USE. PROBLEM FREE FOR WEEKEND OF FUN. AFTER YOU GET A GRASP OF THE REEL LEVER YOUR IN THERE. ENJOY, I HAVE BEEN.
You will want to match with a LH reel.
Yes I use this reel on my Edge and it works great.
Yes we still offer this. And it would work with your Hoyt compound.
It does not look like we have an expected date at the moment. You can enter your email address to be notified once it comes back into stock.
Yes, this attaches to the opposite side of the sight window. Yes, we still have the Traditional Gadget Adapter (Item Number: 5045)
You could use a whisker biscuit depending on the bow that you have. I like to use a Roller Rest for bowfishing with my Samick Sage
No. The rest designed for this rig is inexpensive and easy to install.
Yes, the string attachment stays at front of arrow during your draw
I have never used a biscuit but you should be able to keep the safety slide in front of you biscuit. loading your next arrow mite be a little slow
Yes this will fit your bow just fine.
It should work. If not you can buy an AMS traditional mounting bracket for $29 and it will work on any traditional bow.
No, this kit does not come with an arrow rest.
No-this kit does not have an arrow rest-really nice kit though!
No. I't something I've personally struggled with. There are a lot of arrow rest options out there, and it's difficult selecting the proper solution.
No, it does not.
No. Why would it?
Yes, if your compound has ATA Accessory (AMO Sight) inserts. Which, most (if not all) do have.
The Retriever reel mounts to standard sight bushings. As long as you have those installed in your bow you will not need to make any modifications.
A.J., You should be able to use the following adapter for your bow. http://www.3RiversArchery.com/ams+bowfishing+traditional+mount+adapter_i5548_baseitem.html
You made your own recurve bow. There isn't much people can do for you on that one. If you made it with AMO sights (also known as ATA accessory), plunger, and front stabilizer brass bushings. With these bushings you can install bow sights, bow fishing reels, plunger with elevated rest, and/or a stabilizer. good luck. Personally, I would have saved myself a ton of time and bought this: Samick Sage 62" Takedown Recurve Bow http://www.3riversarchery.com/Samick+Sage+62%2526quot%253B+Takedown+Recurve+Bow_i2490X_variablekit.html
