It's an old favorite with a modern update. The 3Rivers Haversack is based on a similar design to the classic haversacks used by military forces worldwide since the 17th century, but it's been updated with modern 1000 Denier Cordura® for comfort and durability. Coated with a durable water repellent to shed water and stains. ...read more

Excellent Multi-Purpose Pack
This pack reminds me of my old canvas map bag I carried during military deployments, but much handier due to the compartments and straps from which additional gear can be hung. The material is water resistant. Stitching is excellent. Dimensions as advertised. Plenty of room for gloves, stringer, arrow retrievers, small repair tools, binoculars, smart phone, and more. More comfortable… read more to wear and easier to access than any back pack. Hangs comfortably at side or back when standing. I can't add much to the excellent product description and youtube video, but I will say that the fully detachable and adjustable strap should be perfect for most. I am 5'8" and a size large shirt size. I can adjust the strap so that the top of the bag is at my lower rib cage without needing to slide the should pad off the shoulder. This is great for keeping it from swinging and banging against the leg while walking. One can shorten the strap even further if one doesn't mind sliding the shoulder pad back all the way. Adjusting the other way should accommodate bulky cold weather clothes on much taller people.

Incredible Haversack
I am amazed at the high quality of construction of this Haversack. The fit is great and is superior to my military surplus gear of the same type. Great job! Thank you,

Pretty good product. Well maid
Comfortable way to carry daily woods gear.
For me it's a way to pack my basic & extended things for walking in woods, hunting, fishing, whatever. I carried backpack most my life. Always digging. Straps in shoulders. The Haversack is easy on/off. Lots of space but organizing could be better if configurable pockets or pouches. Strap is nice and long. Little more accessible than backpack. Easier to walk with. Doesn't… read more catch on things like pack does. Strap stays put on shoulder. Blanket/tarp straps are nice. Overall, a better way to carry your gear for a day in the woods. Maybe 2-3 if running light.

Great fishing bag!
Great design for a fishing bag. Perfect size, lightweight and comfortable.
Perfect Pack for a day in the woods
I used the Haversack to go stump shooting. It carried all the gear I needed, and still had room for some extras that I brought as a test run. It was comfortable and never got in the way of shooting my bow. The strap was long enough to wear low on my hip and the buckles made it easy to get into the Haversack. The gear straps on the bottom are a nice addition, I carried a rolled… read more up rain jacket. Well worth the money, a great purchase for the outdoor enthusiast.
Awesome product
I cannot come up with anything negative about this product. Construction, and quality are top notch. It's a great bag for hunting, trekking, and just all around taking on trips to the woods on walks. It has ample room for gear. I rate this product 10 out of 10 stars. I absolutely love it. I have yet to find a similar product as useful, well made as this
It is more for smaller bottles like pictured.
A full size nalgene bottle does not fit in the pouch.
Niko, the bottle I use in my Haversack is 2-3/4" diameter. Hope that helps. Jim
It fits the smaller bottles such as the 12 ounce bottles. There is not any elastic opening to stretch and fit larger bottles.
Don't think it will hold a big bottle hold a regular size just fine and my small thermos.
The haversack does not have any foam that comes with the pack. It is a thicker durable material that will keep its form.
There is NO foam in the haversack; It looks puffy in the picures because of being sewed double layered of a very nice heavy durable material; It is a very nice well designed and made item, and I use it for day hunts - just the right size for what I do - I generally don't recommend a product - but will make an exception with this- I got more in value than I anticipated when I ordered it.Jim
It is only offered in that one color.
No Tan only
Don't think so. But it was not a big deal for me. The color is not one that stands out.
Not that I remember. I bought the tan. I am very pleased. Going with me to Alaska fishing the end of August. Life is tough. It's tougher when you're stupid. Bob Fisher
No it does not.
