A good arrow for practice- Economical, but a real value for the cost. Attractive in bare wood with white/barred fletching. Well matched in spine and weight- consistent performers. I'll be getting another dozen to mount broadheads
Yes
Needs a bit of glue at beginning and end of fleching
Beautiful, thrown together.
I was so excited when I received my arrows in less than a week. I immediately took then out of the box, and was surprised by the quality look and components used. Sketch quality is good, shafts come perfectly straight. They appeared to be 100% ready to go. So I took then out and started flinging, my first arrow upon release the knock exploded and practically dry fired my bow.....… read more was Not happy. Second arrow left the bow like a later beam and flew beautifully, but when I retrieved it from target, the fletchings were already torn up from coming into contact with my shelf fur. The third arrow I shot at a stump that shoot all the time with other arrows, at 30 yards and the shaft splintered like kindling. Maybe I got a bad batch, I don't know and I don't care, I will stick to making my own, or using carbon shafts. I wanted to buy finished arrows, not arrows that I would practically have to take apart and rebuild my self.
Good Deal
I normally build my own arrows, but my daughter gave me a bow rack that displays one dozen arrows, so I ordered the Trailwalker Wood Arrows. They are good looking arrows, straight and well made. I feel they would shoot well, however I got them for display, and they really look good.
Very nice arrow perfect for hunting
Yes good arrow for hunting the price is good
Fly true and well made
These arrows are perfect for the archer that doesn't have time to build their own. The only thing that kept me from giving a 5 star rating is the stain color of the shaft (petty, I know). For hunting, I personally like dark walnut like the Tred Barta's 3-Rivers used to carry.
It was like Christmas when my fully outfitted arrows arrived
The service and willingness to work with me on my recent purchases far exceeded my expectations.
Great arrows
Once points were installed, weights varied from 531-611 gr
Beautiful arrows that fly true
Beautiful arrows that I use mostly for target and helping beginners. Nice finish and look sharp in the quiver.
Perfect fit for my recurve.
Gorgeous arrows, great craftsmanship all around! They fly true, I am impressed.
I would try a 45-50 spine. If in stock it will arrive in 3-10 business days.
Yes it will work the 50-55 would also.
A 50-55 spine would be best with those numbers. If you increase you grain point to 145 or lengthen your arrow to 30" then the 55-60 would work for you.
I would recommend a 55-60 spine
Yes one is purchasing the actual field points and the other is to mount those field points.
The mount field points is a service and the "glue on field points" is the actual steel field points that go on the end of your arrow.
The Trail Walkers are not weight matched. There can be 30-40 grain differences at the most on average.
We can taper them at full length which would be 31.25" from the valley of the nock to the back of point.
The arrows dont come with any points, 100 grain is the lowest we have for that arrow
They are sold by the dozen.
Yes, these are very good arrows and would work well. In regards to spine, a lot depends upon the bow weight, type of bow, and draw length. There are a few different ways to find the best arrow. The easiest would be to call one of our techs at 866-587-9501. You can look at our spine charts here http://www.3riversarchery.com/pdf/ArrowCharts.pdf. or you can purchase a test kit to help decide the right arrow.
The Trailwalker Arrows come standard with one traditional barred feather and two solid white hen feathers. They do not offer any other colors.
