Best arrows out there for kids to start with
These are the best arrows I've found for my grandkids startng out in archery. The plastic rubber fletched arrows sold by big box sporting goods stores are garbage and will leave nothing but discouragement behind.... and these are less money!!! Buy these if this is your purpose.
Good for beginners
Solid arrows for a beginning archer. Simple and good for target shooting.
Will buy more!
Bought these arrows in 24" for my 6 year old. Arrows fly good and will buy more.
Good, as long as you dont mind doing some work
I got these for my 12yr old son. They are basically a wood version of the super cheap fiberglass ones you find at walmart. They are straight. they are feather fletched. the feathers are of low quality and poorly fletched but get the job done. there was fletching glue all over the place. the points are a joke. they are a thin piece of metal crimped on and weight next to nothing.… read more the balance point is behind the center of the arrow. I ordered mine long and cut them down to 26.5in, taperd them, and glued on some 125g points. they balance much better and the length is appropriate for my son. Over all as long as you dont mind putting new points on they are very serviceable youth arrows.
Great youth arrowswith minor adjustment
These are great for a youth archer. However if being shot with a youth bow, the blocks are a little wide and don't lock in to a small bowstring. This makes it harder for small hands to hold. Great once adjusted!
I would buy this product again and again
i purchased this product for a young archer. i wanted to pass on a tradition. like i did with my boys. give them a good start they will continue to pass it on.
I would buy this product again .
Quality better than expected for youth arrows.
Do not recommend for serious young shooters.
For any younger archer that has a bow 25# or higher and 24" draw or longer, these arrows are going to do more to frustrate them than build confidence. The balance point on these arrows are not front of center, and on two of them it is actually just slightly rear which leaves the fletchings alone to straighten out arrow flight and discourages a beginning young archer. A lot of… read more porpoising and fishtailing as a result, with arrows entering the target at all angles. Kept trying to tune a PSE Razorback for my daughter shooting these, and trying to coach her on form before realizing the problems with inconsistency was not her or the bow, but these arrows. Threw a few of these up in the air only to watch them land flat on the ground before measuring FOC to realize there is no weight forward to them. The build quality is good and would be good for much younger shooters that are just interested in flinging arrows with lighter poundages shooting into cardboard or hay. A teen level, shooting 25# on up, I would find a better arrow.
Good youth arrows
Got these with my 5 year old's first bow. They are great for what he needs. Perfect for target shooting practice and even rabbits. Dull target tips that are safe for young kids but still formed well so they shoot nicely. I would like to see plastic fletchings because the feather ones don't last as long with kids.
Great youth arrows
Youth arrows are well made with good flething material. The wood is so much faster than those heavy fiberglass arrows. I used a candle to brown ring/lines into the shafts. Looks awesome.
Yes very much so.
We can do our best to match that request.
The Wood Youth arrows come in three colors natural , dark stain and pink , we also have s few different feather colors available .
I would get the 24" Wood Youth arrows 4292x
I would measure the child's draw length first then decide. Longer Arrow is better to be on the safe side. Kid will grow also.
24 inch arrows would work fine for the bow and draw length for a four year old
I just ordered the standard youth arrows assuming they would grow into them.
My personal favorite youth quiver is item #3252.
The 3Rivers Wood Youth Arrows are made of Cedar.
Sold by the 6-pack.
It all depends on the draw length of the archer. Generally go 1-2 inches longer than their draw length.
Peggy, It kind of depends on the age of the kid, but I usually go with the longer size that way it works for all. I have sold several of my bows to kids of different ages and the longer kids arrows always seem to work great. Hope this helps,Rick
Need to know the draw length but 25" or longer should be fine for anyone under 12yo. Thanks,Zak Mercer
It depends on the person's draw length, but for a bow that size and strength I would suggest a full length arrow of 28 inches or greater. The heavier the arrow the flatter it will fly. My kids regularly shoot longer arrows out of their kids bows to achieve better accuracy.
The length of the arrow is about the archer, not the bow. The arrows should be 1 - 2" longer that the persons draw length. Measure from bow to string at full draw....You can also measure from the middle of your chest to the tip of your fingers (your arms will be straight out in front of you with palms together).I hope this helps!
These will fi any bow that is under 35 pounds.
The can be used with any bow with a compatable draw length and draw weight.
These arrows will work for any youth bow. They are a good arrow at a decent price. I use them a lot for the bows kits I make for our local kids.
-DOUG PAGE will work on any bow just make sure bowstring is correct type, an draw length is correct. my six yr old grandson just loves his.
I have these arrows for my boys and they work with any bow under the specified draw weight due to the spine. I think these arrows are for bows 30lbs. or under.
all 6 will come the same color
When I ordered my understanding was that you get what they ship to you, and I didn't have a problem with that. When they arrived, they were all the same color which was simply wood grain with a clear coat on them. It wouldn't hurt if you called them to ask if you could get all one color, they are very helpful if you haven't called them before. The arrows were for my son, and what we did was cut the blunt tips off, tapered them with a tapering tool, and glued on field points so they'd stop bouncing off of our targets. Hope this helped. Lance
Ours all came as one colour, red, but we didn't choose the specific colour. Sent from my iPad
When we got my son’s, they were all one color. Sent from Windows Mail
Yes very much so.
No
You cannot use a screw in with this arrow. They are wood from beginning to end and they have glued/crimped on practice tips. Sent via the Samsung GALAXY S®4, an AT&T 4G LTE smartphone
