This is my first shooting tab so I want to be upfront that I don't have a lot of experience with other tabs except for ones that I have borrowed at the range. I feel like the quality of this tab is pretty high and the customization options on this tab are pretty high. I will say that it is not fully ready to shoot out of the box. you will need to install the shelf if you want… read more it on there and there is some recommended trimming of the leather before shooting. I tried to trim the leather on mine with a razor and found that to be extremely difficult probably due to the high durability of the leather pieces. outside of that if found that it has broken in nicely and I am to the point now that I may trim some of the length on it as recommended by the manufacturer. Overall, it seems high quality and works well for me.

It is worth the extra expense. My dealer had one, but large was the biggest he carried. I wear XL Gloves and like an XL tab. Good advice about Baby powder but does not reveal the secret that Baby Powder is Corn Starch with perfume. The tab does not care about perfume. I think it will help me in the long run and it is easier on the fingers with 45# pull than my old Black Widow… read more which is wearing out after a year of shooting.

What is the difference between Super Leather and Cordovan? Seems everything with Cordovan is backordered.

Cordovan is considered the best leather, but is difficult to find consistent sources. The Elite Super Leather Tab is a very good tab made from standard leather material.
