If you have AD tapered shafts, you need these.
I gave myself credit for being an "expert" because I've been shooting Arrowdynamics tapered shafts for about 20 years now and I've done about every bad thing that you can do to them. And the only thing that will kill them is hitting something hard when using a press-in nock. The shaft walls are too thin to stand up to the impact forces, one hit on a rock or a re-bar leg will… read more do it. You can glue in a fresh one to double the life of the shaft, but you break that second nock and you're done. These puppies solve that. You can even split a nock without wrecking an arrow. Anyway, if you're gonna spring for the AD shafts, invest a little more in some of these.
Measure your shaft
You really need to know the I.D. of the shafts you will be using these on. The insert section of these adapters have a diameter of .2456" (FYI) I used these on an Easton 2213 shaft with a Uni-Bushing and a 5/16" glue on nock , and everything worked perfect. May work as a "press-in" if the fit is tight enough, but I would suggest gluing.
Yes, use them
I was concerned with these adapters, because of other reviews stating that they would not fit. Well they are tight, but slightly wet them ,with a hammer tap them easily into the shaft. All this takes less than 5 seconds. These arrows are great, but the standard nock last until the arrow strikes a hard object. These nock adapters make the arrow a complete package.
Dont always fit
These adapters fit too tight in my Arrow Dynamic arrows. They are very difficult to install. One arrow out of the 6 I installed had to be pounded in with a hammer and one would not install at all. I measured the adapters and they all measured the same. I think the variation is in the ID of the arrow shaft at the nock end. Since they are supposed to be glue-in, I think the OD… read more on the adapter should be smaller.
I would buy this product again end again
Too bad a 9/32 nok does not fit
Must have for Arrow Dynamic shafts
Use these with G-nocks to make a complete arrow. Highly recommend and a step or two above the factory nicks.
These are approximately .213 and are designed for use in the arrows dynamics that uses the Arrow dynamics standard nock. If you are using the Newer Arrow Dynamics that uses the X nocks these would be to large.
Unfortunately these will not fit the MFX classic shafts
These inserts allow the use of 1/4" Bohning Classic or AAE Z glue-on nocks on Arrow Dynamics carbons. Sold by the dozen only.
No, you need 0149X
No they will not and we do not have. I do not have any adapters that will fit that size shaft.
No, this adapter will not fit in a 2020.
