Great Potential, Great Idea

Was faced with the fact I needed some 250 grain heads for my Trad Only 400s. Got numerous 125 grain glue-on heads so we can install this 125 grain point/adapter into the broadhead. Being a point it has a larger gluing surface than SS BHAs from other suppliers and they are cheaper.(They are long enough to cover the slots in a 4 blade Zwickey) With an 11/32 head, the mating surfaces… read more of the insert/adapter will be just inside the ferrule of the head, which is a plus. With a addition of a collar, this give it plenty of needed support. The additional weight of the 145 grain point is a longer base, so this would have the mating surfaces just outside of the ferrule, but with proper collars it shouldn't be a deal breaker. One could use 145 with 160 grain heads to make up 300 grain+ if desired. Using 5/16 glue on points you could make some custom practice points as well. Use your imagination and have some fun with these. IMO, you will like them.
