I fire a crossbow. The arrows were in there so tight that I had a hard time getting the, arrows out.

Does the Trick!

Looked around online for a good puller that was well reviewed. You would think all pullers are pretty much the same, but apparently they are not. I really like this one. The clip enables you to hang it on your waist or pretty much anything, and as far as I can tell it just works. It doesn't slip, even when wet, and the trips make it easy to hold when pulling those deep arrows read more out of tough targets.

This works very well. Arrows that I couldn't remove from excelsior bales with all my strength now pull easily. I was skeptical that it would work at all, and never thought it would make as big a difference as it does. A must have for target shooters.

This thing really works !

I use mine for pulling arrows out of foam target blocks. One hand on the block and one on the arrow. They pull out easy.

Works well!

A local shop has a range where they have replaced the target backings with 2-3" composite foam layers. These layers are pressed together so that you are shooting at them edgewise. If an arrow sinks into a place where not very many arrows have gone before it, the grip of the foam is quite strong. You can't pull it out with one hand. Of course, if you try a two handed pull then read more there are other problems--over flexing the arrow, pulling the target over, etc. One can also twist the arrow in place to loosen the grip of the foam, but even this does not always work and one can loosen the screw-in points. This product gives a very good grip with one hand so that the arrow can be pulled out while holding the back of the other hand against the target.

Works very well

If you have problems pulling your arrows out of your target, I would suggest this. It makes it about 3 times easier and grips the arrows well.

Works great

One range I use has just replaced their target backing with layers of glued together chunks of foam "rubber." It very tenaciously grips arrow when they hit areas few arrows have gone, which is everywhere when the backing is unused by the arrows. In the range I use carbon arrows with field points, so the arrows are small diameter and very smooth. Yet, you sometimes have to pull read more with both hands tugging hard to get the arrow out. The arrow puller makes it much easier to get a good grip on an arrow so that you don't need both hands on the arrow shaft. It does not cost much. Every archer who shoots at targets at all should have one of these in their kits.
