This is a DVD that looks into our past of Bow Hunting. Think of the time that this was made and the inroads that were made at this time! Hardship was common for this type of hunt to happen! Art's life was spent with this love of nature and respect of the hunt.

Have you ever purchased a hunting video that doesn't live up to the title and picture on the DVD case? That is exactly what happened when I watched Art LaHa "No Land For the Timid". There was hardly any footage of Art shooting his bow or taking big game himself other than the Polar Bear scenes. Most of the time was spent with Eskimos as they harpooned Whales and shot Seals. … read more So disappointed especially since Art LaHa is a Wisconsin bow hunting legend.

My video arrived today and it is as incredible as I remember it. It may not be an archery exclusive hunting video but if you are looking for an all around Alaskan hunting video this is a must have. I first saw this back in 94 living in Alaska and 3 rivers archery is the only place I have been able find it. This is an iconic "back in the day" Alaskan hunting video and truly amazing.

I own a copy of this I bought years ago from Art himself at his "Bear Bar" in northern Wisconsin. This is historical footage of what hunting was like in Alaska back when Alaska was a lot wilder than it is today. I found it fasicnating to see how they actually lived and hunted back then. The footage is not high quality by todays standards but is very good for the era it was shot… read more in. Don't be deceived though this movie isn't about bow hunting, it's about living and hunting in Alaska. I've enjoyed watching the movie many times over the years and so have my hunting friends I've shared it with.

I was disappointed with this DVD mostly because I expected it to deal primarily with bowhunting but discovered too late that bowhunting and archery are minor parts of the show.

Bought for home viewing. NOTHING GREAT!!!Expected an archery DVD since that was what was shown on the front cover and sold by archery company. Would not have purchased if it indicated it was hunting by rifle. Would return if possible but I guess I can't since it has been used. Wasted $[$] + freight!!!Just had a problem with arrowheads & couldn't return all of them - considering… read more buying elsewhere.
