I bought this as a gift for my husband. He is an ever single day now shooter and flies through targets. He said this is his favorite one ever!

I bought this at a local archery shop as a replacement for my bag target which was about shot out in the middle. The shape is perfect, wide at the base and it's heavy which I view as a good thing. It doesn't fall over after being shot like my BC300 bag target. The foam initially has holes from arrow impacts, but after a few minutes the holes miraculously heal almost shut! I've shot… read more one bull dozens of times and there are only black smudges where arrows have hit. I imagine I'll have to repaint the target faces several times before the target wears out as I don't think I'll be able to wear it out for a long time, even with my shooting ~100 arrows a day.

It should not damage wood arrows, however the friction from entering the target can heat up your points if you use hot melt and they can get stuck in the target.
