Great tab, my fingers stopped hurting when shooting after switching to this release so the protection is there but it's still very smooth and supple under the string. The "Apache" tab bit may very well end up getting trimmed off of mine as it gets in the way when I'm nocking arrows. But it is actually quite comfortable once I'm drawn, time will tell. A great tab nonetheless.

I just recently purchased this and switched from a glove to a tab. I have always used a shooting glove but was increasingly having issues with sore fingers as my shooting sessions grew longer in the summer and fall. I was absolutely amazed how comfortable this tab was and how well it protected my shooting hand. I am able to shoot much longer with absolutely no discomfort. My… read more shooting is also more accurate as I am not trying to work around sore fingers. I wish I would have tried this a long long time ago.

Since switching from split finger to shooting three under I'd been plagued with the tip of my middle finger of my drawing hand suffering a bit of numbness after an afternoon of flinging arrows. My old tab just wasnt protecting my fingers well enough and since my hand was not confortable it was effecting my release and accuracy was suffering ....this tab has fixed everything! It… read more has three layers...great protection and really improves the accuracy of the "three under" draw and release...I even find it easier to find a solid anchor point useing this tab...I love it and will order another just to have a spare on hand!!!

A basic working tool that is close to faultless. It does exactly what it was designed to do, holds up to abuse, releases arrows as if greased, protects fingers flawlessly. I've now shot several thousand arrows using this tab and it looks new. An essential archery must-have.

This is great tab. Good protection and a consistently good smooth release. I don't care for the velcro-fastening finger strap but the rest of this tab is perfect for my needs.

Is RH/LH based on the bow hand or on the hand on which it is worn? I am right-handed ie bow in my left hand and releasing with my right so I assume I order a RH?

The hair tab has the hair fibers on it to create a very slick release, but will wear with use. The SuperLeather tab has no hair, but still gives a good release. It will not wear out as quickly.
