Fletch a dozen arrows in an hour. No need to fuss with messy glue. Roll the Bohning fletch tape onto your clamped feather, peel the backing off, and press the feather onto the shaft and it's done. Remove the clamp, add a drop of glue front and back and you're set. Approximately 60 feet per roll, which should do more than three dozen arrows. Compatible with every carbon and aluminum arrow, all wood arrow sealers, and arrow wraps. ...read more

Use on feathers to shafts.
Great product
Great tape that works.
Prep is important
Works great and is ready immediately. Very intolerant of oil/fingerprints, so make sure the arrow is cleaned and don't touch the tape or the quill. I think it works a bit better if you scuff the shaft with some ultra fine Scotch Brite cloth
Strong and durable tape!
Ease in affixing vanes to wood arrows.
Great product!
This is an excellent adhesive for fletching. Very easy to use, no odor, neat, and bonds very well. I've used it on wood and aluminum with excellent results. On wood arrows the finish has been Tru Oil and lacquer. Some tips for using, like any quality tape be sure to keep the edges of the roll clean. I store the roll in the original bag and set the roll on the bag when I'm fletching.… read more This tape has a very strong bond, so be sure your feather is positioned right before putting it in place. I tried to pull one up immediately after putting it on a 3R pre-finished wood shaft and it actually pulled up the wood on the arrow. It's that strong! I've been using it for at least ten years and have never had a feather come loose. And that's ten years of backyard target, stump shooting, and hunting.

Saves time on fletching arrows, I add one drop of glue to both ends of the fletching for additional support.
Fletching is a breeze with this tape
I never really enjoyed fletching arrows because of the mess and the time it took. I decided to give this tape a try and had 2 dozen Carbon shafts 3 feathers each completed in under a couple of hours. It was a very easy application. Just to be extra thorough, I applied the tiniest dot of Bohning Fletch-Tite Platinum Fletching Glue to the tape at both ends of the feathers. I used… read more a bitzenburger jig and the application was smooth and the tape adhered very well along the entire length of each feather. Both sets of arrows have now been shot through 3 indoor tournaments, an indoor 3D shoot, and 3 outdoor 3D shoots. ALL FEATHERS on all arrows are still intact! None of them have lifted away from the shafts at all. This is going to be my go to for fletching from now on!
Not sure it's worth the triple
I use this tape on wood shafts with feather fletchings, and I have to say I'm not 100% convinced. The ease of use is phenomenal, it's nice to Fletch arrows fast and be on my way, but the adhesive is not strong and feathers come off all the time in all conditions. I'm not sure the ease of use is worth the trouble of having to continuously re-fletch arrows.
I love this tape!!!
Fantastic product please never stop carrying it
I will continue to use this product.
I've been using Bohning Feather Fletching Tape to apply feathers to aluminum arrows. I always clean the arrows with alcohol before fletching and have never had a feather come off. I can sit down and fletch a dozen arrows in less than an hour. I use a drop of glue on each end of the feathers after taping them on. Great product!!!
The tape will stick to raw shafts or cap wraps. I would recommend cleaning the shaft as you mentioned.
Sticks great to carbons without wrap. I wiped with cotton ball and rubbing alcohol. I really like the fletching tape. Works great on woodies too.
this tape works very well when applied to raw shafts, either carbon or aluminum, I have made up many of both kinds with this tape. However, I like to break the leading and trailing edges of the feather with fletching cement, and some cements will not adhere to aluminum very well. So I use a cap wrap on aluminum arrows because of this reason. 3 Rivers has a compatibility chart in the fletching/glue section of their website. And yes, clean shafts with the alcohol.
Yes
I haven't tried it, but I can't think of a good reason why it wouldn't work. Good luck! -- Chuck
It does indeed work quite well on spray urathane, which so far seems yo be an excellent finish for arrows.
It shouldn't effect it at all.
If applied correctly, it should hold up well.
The short answer is: I don't know. I have used tape only on a few target arrows. Usually I use superglue (cyanoacrylate.) Good luck! -- Chuck
I haven't tried it, but it seems like it would be difficult to do in my opinion.
I have not had good results using fletching tape with the EZFletch jig. When you close the EZFletch jaws, they need to wiggle a little from side to side, in order to align with the cap. However, fletching tape immediately sticks to the shaft, usually in not quite the right place. (Does that explanation make any sense?) I use superglue gel. Good luck! -- Chuck
I do not know if it would work or not? I have not used it with that jig before. But I think if you get it all right from the get go then it would be the same as using a single because the tape does not dry like glue so you have time setting it up. Sent from my iPhone
Yes, it should work.
Yes I have used it on carbon arrows but not blazer vanes, it holds really well! Sent from my iPhone
I don't know whether tape would work with carbon shafts and vanes; I have used it only with wood shafts and feathers. But I don't know any reason why it wouldn't work. Good Luck!
No you do not have to leave this in the Jig to dry. Once you place this on the feather and then peel off the backing. put the feather on the shaft, press down and you are ready to put the next feather on. After you have all feathers on I would recommend to put a dot of glue on the front and back of the feather to keep it from lifting up.
This is close to 3/32 and is a perfect fit on a feathers quill.
As far as I can tell, about two millimeters . . . comparable to the width of a fletching quill.
It is about 3/32 of an inch Sent from my iPhone
You can use about any glue at the ends to keep the feather down Fletch Tite works great to.
I use Duco cement. It's more to hold down the sharp point on the leading edge of the feather.
I use Fletch-It because it is clearly explained that it works on carbon, wood, and aluminum shafts. You could use a variety of glues as long as it is compatible with your shaft material. I put a dab of Fletch-It on the front and back of each fletching to strengthen it in the event that it deflects off a target or other object. The tape works very well, I have had the fletchings rip apart before the tape looses its adhesive strength. Is it necessary, for targets it is not to critical, but for the price of the glue and the fact that you are using a minimal amount (less than a drop) for each fletching, you gain that extra amount of "toughness." When you apply it, do not use a full drop of glue, it will run around the shaft and run along the fletching due to surface tension, it really only takes little bit. Squeeze the glue container until you see the glue starting to bulge out of the tip and then just dab the ends of the fletchings. Hope this helps.
I use a drop of super glue on the ends of the fletching
What kind of clear coat or sealer are you using? The fletch tape works on pretty much every sealer out there.
