Brass Point Inserts Reviews

Exactly what I wanted for my carbon express pile driver's!

Ben

I hunt Illinois religiously! Infamous for their big body deer, I use these 100 grain brass inserts with my carbon express 350 pile drivers! And they have never failed to provide deep and effective penetration! As always 3rivers archery has never let me down!

Fit the arrows well and weight. Two of the inserts were difficult to thread tips into. Required the use of pliers.

100gr brass inserts

These were a little on the small side, .244, but some thick epoxy helped to keep them centered. 1" 2216 shaft sections for footings. Even with .246 shafts broadheads spin true.

Easton Axis

I chose these 100 grain brass inserts over the 75 Grain Easton HIT Inserts because of added weight up front for more FOC. They're nearly identical to the Easton inserts, and installs in the same manner. Very convenient and well made product.

Depending which dropdown option you select. The ones with "Carbon Express" in the name (50 grain and 100 grain) will fit that ID of .245". The 5/16" Easton are .246" ID, which can work as well, but the Carbon Express is the best fit.
