I would buy the other brand if I had to do it again
I bought this for the sole purpose of bowfishing. It was the cheaper of the choices so I went for it. First, mine measures 59" from string groove to string groove not 56". The string measures 56". The string came with the finger savers pre-glued on the serving where someone else thought it should be with no nock point. These came unglued and slid very easily all over the place… read more the first day. I added a brass nock where it needed to be after the fact. I tried the spool and it works, but I added an AMS retriever and rest. The retriever fits but there is interference between it and the rest when I position it where it's most ergonomic. The grip on this hurts my thumb knuckle near the palm because the riser extends far over that area, it doesn't feel good after a while, especially the way you grip the bow and pull the retriever trigger reeling the arrow back in. It's not as light as I'd thought it be. It's easy to put together but included no real manual. Taking it down, you only need to back off the limb bolts a few turns and the limbs pull free. The limbs have a half-round section on the belly side that corresponds to a groove in the riser, the limbs are slotted at the bolt. Overall it's not a bad bow, just lacks refinement. An actual bolt-on grip may have made the grip more comfortable filling the hand more and moving that knuckle off the metal. If I had to do it over again, I'd have bought the water moc combo. I'll keep it and use it for fishing only, but I just don't enjoy shooting it. I'd recommend to someone to try something else.
Highly recommended
I upgraded to a NAP FLIPPER REST. And a winch pro reel and a nap apache predator light
