Well at first I thought it was too massive but decided to work with it. I have had a lot of draw hand finger pain with gloves and traditional tabs, that stopped once I started using the SAMS tab it has worked very well. Thank you

Almost but not quite

I have been using the old SAM tab for almost ten years, I felt that it gave superior protection to any other glove or tab I had tried. They are very durable, so I was happy to see that someone was making them again. The new SAM uses a thin, slick Cordovan leather. It is slippery and gives a nice release, and seems durable. However, it is about half as thick as the leather in… read more my old crinkly SAMs, and my sore fingers can sure tell the difference. The new tabs also seem to be slightly larger than the originals, perhaps they seem looser because the leather is much thinner. In all, the SAM is still an innovative and practical tab, and probably the only thing I will ever use, I just wish the leather was twice as thick.
