I have been making wooden arrows for a long time but decided to get this video just to see if there were any tips that I might be missing or might have forgotten. I found that it was a great review for me and is certainly a great video for someone who might be just starting out making wooden arrows. Other reviews have stated that it is only for beginners, but I would disagree.… read more I have built many hundreds of arrows and still found it helpful. After years of making arrows I had started neglecting to spine AND weigh all of my shafts in order to sort them to build the best matched arrows. The attention to this aspect in the video certainly jogged my memory. I have other videos on how to make arrows and I would certainly rate this video among the best. I think that it is well worth the money.

This is a great "How to" DVD. It explains step by step each process in the arrow building procedure. It is well presented and easy to follow. I have viewed in several times and picked up hints each time.

I am a novice arrow builder who wanted to take it to the next level ie; cresting, straightening etc. This video briefly demonstrates the skills that the trailor shows as key concepts. Unless you have never built or even seen a cedar arrow, this video is not for you.

We do not have any books strictly on building arrows but one book that has everything you asked about for is "Instinctive Shooting Vol 1" by G. Fred Asbell item number 4068. Chapter 10 has all of the arrow building tips you are looking for.
