The 5/16" drawn steel points are measured in outside diameter, and require no taper, but require a parallel tenon (see illustration) to slide inside the point. Then simply glue or crimp on. For the 1/4" drawn steel points no taper or tenon is required. They are ready to glue or crimp on. Approximately 20 grains each. ...read more

Good for targets
Made own bolts out of dowel rods
Like the sharper point
Like the sharper point these have than the points I am replacing on my kids practice arrows, allowing better target penetration vs. bouncing off the target
Great for youth arrows
My daughter likes to shoot with me, but like most children she does miss the target from time to time and youth arrow tips are not the most durable tips. This beats having to buy new arrows all the time. I just cut off the old tips with my dremel and glue the new ones on and they are ready to go the next day.
Drawn Steel Arrow Points are great
Fast order placement and shipper, the Drawn Steel Arrow Points work great!
Great target tips
Exactly what I needed, arrived on time as promised. Eexact fit great buy.
Points
a decent and ecconomical point for target shooting with homemade arrows
I will buy this product again
They worked perfect with the fletching as they balanced it well.
Not bad economy tips
Definitely not game heads or even good competition tips. But, if you're looking to make some arrows as economically as possible to practice with, then you can't beat these.
Easy to use
I use these for the kids bows I make and give away. What good is a bow with no arrows?
The perfect thing for my kids!
These points are inexpensive, and relativiely safe for kids to learn how to shoot. If they break dozens of arrows, no problem! 100 points goes a long way. Not to mention if a rock gets in the way, the arrow probably won't shatter. I'm glad I could use these points for the kids!
They are going to weight approximately 20 grains.
The ID is .275"
No, we do not.
These are for a chamfered end, not a tapered
I have glued these on tapered points too, but it won't go in all they way. But it's still possible.
I used mine on fibreglass arrows that had no taper. However, if the diameter of the arrow is not bigger than the points, there's no reason I can think of that you couldn't use an epoxy glue (the kind that you need to mix), coat the taper in it generously and push the points on. The epoxy fills whatever space there is, but remember to twist them about a bit to release trapped bubbles of air from when you push the points on. I've done this with other similar points on tapered wooden arrows and have had no problems.. The points stay solidly on for me. Hope this helps!
We do not carry a tool that will cut the tenons or crimp the points on.
No, we do not have any parallel points in those sizes. All of our 11/32 and 23/64 points are tapered.
1/4" points will not need a Tenon to go on a 1/4" shaft so the inside diameter of the point is 1/4" and will slide directly onto a 1/4" dowel or shaft.
They are sold by the dozen and hundred count. You need to click on the drop down box and select the size and then the package quantity.
I am not sure were you can find the crimping tool for these points. The best place to find one is online in web search.
We only sell the Drawn Steel Points in 1/4 and 5/16 ths.
These are for 1/4" and 5/16" shafts only.
