I would buy again
Works great for fletching wood arrows and putting knocks on
I would buy this product.
I use Duco on nocks and feathers. It works well on polyurethane.
I would'nt use this again
I used it to fletch my shafts. As soon as I turn it over, it starts running out.
Holds like a vice
I have always had good luck with Duco. Will hold a feather like grim death.
Not good
It doesn't stick feathers to wraps at all. And the nozzle is too wide for feather base. Much better to use products like fletch tite that are truly designed for arrows.
Bought it because it works well
I use this product to fletch arrows with and it works really well. It is cheaper to order it thru youins instead of getting it in town, I hate to go to town!
My favorite fletching cement
I only fletch feathers on cedar shafts finished with clear lacquer or wipe-on varnish, and Duco is my favorite glue for this use. While the nozzle tip is a bit wider than would be ideal, with a little practice this isn't a problem. By using just enough pressure to flow a small amount of glue on the feather I get good adhesion without any excess runoff. By using a minimal amount… read more of glue, and letting it air dry for 30 seconds before placing the feather on the shaft, I can remove the clamp in 5-10 minutes without any problems.
Not the best for the job
Duco was a favorite while growing up. Used it for building and repairing everything. For fletching the nozzle tip is too large. Cement smears and oozes out onto the shaft, requiring a lot of time and effort to clean it up for a presentable product.
Great Product
Great product for gluing nocks to wooden arrows. Hasn't failed me yet.
Love this stuff!
I tried Loc-Tite as a Duco substitute when I couldn't get Duco at my local Walmart, but while the applicator is fantastic, at half an ounce for twice the price, and the fact that one tube of Duco will easily fletch a full dozen arrows, Loc-Tite is only good for two-maybe-three complete arrows, it's worth paying for the shipping to get this most-reliable glue from the most-reliable… read more Traditional Archery supplier in the World!
While useing this you can tip this up so that the force of gravity pulls the glue out. This should help it from coming out too fast and make less of a mess.
If you gently work with the tube, the bigger opening does just fine. I do better with Duco than fletch tite. Just watch your air tension and how hard you squeeze it. Also, once air is trapped behind the glue, your hand can heat it up and push excess glue out. I have those same problems with fletch tite.
It certainly runny, but if you hold them horizontal, I take a square of tp and spin it once while it's runny and it really cleans up nicely, doesn't run past the initial push really. Best of luck. Sent from my iPhone
Yes it will work but I would recommend Bohning Fletch-Tite Platinum Fletching Glue https://www.3riversarchery.com/bohning-fletch-tite-platinum-fletching-glue.html , this will work well with wraps as well .
Yes you could use this glue that way.

Once opened the Duco cement has an approximate one-year shelflife
It is not recommended for inserts.
I personally have had success with insert iron.
I have used Duco over polyurethane with good results.
Yes. I have used Duco cement over “MinWax” stain and polyurethane applications. A key element when fletching seems to be to allow the glue to set for about a minute or so before actually applying feathers / placing in fletching jig. Thx.
Yes, Duco Feather glue will work on aluminum arrows.
No, I recommend keeping it in the squeeze tube. The other bottles are for larger quantities of glue that only come in a can.
This will work on carbon arrows, although we recommend either the fletch tape or Fletch Tite Platinum for carbon arrows.
Yes you may use it for both.
Say Mac: I only use this fine product on my feathers only.
I used the glue for both, and it worked great. I would say yes.
Yes it can be used for both feathers and nocks on finished shafts.
