Easton Draw Length Indicator Shaft Reviews

Important piece of kit

There isn't much to say about this item. It's a long arrow shaft with incremental marks on it to find your draw length, and it functions as it should.

A Professional Quality Tool

The exact tool that was used by my local shop when I first got my bow. Gives easy, accurate readings which you can use to determine your arrow length and the actual draw weight you're pulling. Great tool in an archers arsenal.

Hard to Find Arrow Sizer and Bow Tuning Item

Hard to find item at most retailers and online shops Also is a big advantage to tune and train using a compound bow

Finally a answer to a question

Bought this so I could get accurate draw lengths, or should I say "true" draw lengths. I'm also using it so see how much diffence anchor points and errors make in the draw length.

Very helpful

Gives and accurate measurement of your draw length, so no more guessing.

Photo is misleading

When looking at the photo on the site I though the unit split into two pieces (for easy transport) - it does not - its a solid 36" long shaft. With that said - it does exactly what it says.

Makes finding the draw length easy.

It makes finding or checking a draw length very easy. The larger shaft allows the use of larger printing, which makes it easier to read.

Great tool

This product is used to measure the draw length of the archer. It lets him/her know the exact (or close to it) draw length of the archer on the various bows of diffrent poundage that s/he may have. I find nothing amiss about this tool it is simple and very easy to use.

Name says it all

Does its intended job of measuring draw length. Markings make it easy to read and record draw length. Need second person to read it though or use a cloths pin if by yourself, which could possibly damage finish.

What point on the bow am I measuring the draw length?

Once you nock the shaft you will draw back to your anchor and ma 6 years ago

Once you nock the shaft you will draw back to your anchor and mark the arrow at the edge of the shelf that is facing the target. You will then add 1 or more inches to that to get your final arrow length.

The draw length is from the knock point on the string to the out 6 years ago

The draw length is from the knock point on the string to the outer side of the rest (the side away from you).

Knock the indicator shaft on to your string as you would any oth 6 years ago

Knock the indicator shaft on to your string as you would any other arrow and come to full draw. The measurement is taken at the very end of your shelf (the furthest from you) have a partner give you the reading. Of you don't have anyone to help you I've had luck with twisting a bread tie or string around the shaft, loose enough that the shelf will push it forward as you draw. When you let down you can take your reading. Hope this helps. Shoot straight.

in my opinion, where the indicator crosses the outer most point 6 years ago

in my opinion, where the indicator crosses the outer most point on the hand gripping the bow. Also, consider adding, say, 2 inches to this length when figuring the length of your arrows.
