Not Cheap but works beautifully
Thinner is probably not the first thing that you think about whent you start building arrows; but, do yourself a huge favor and spend the few pennies more to get a high quality thinner that works beautifully (and is compatible) with all of the paints and finishes that you will be using. I've used this thinner and I keep reordering more. It is a high quality product that works consistently… read more well on all sorts of stains, paints, and finishes. I have used cheaper stuff in the past; but it never gave me the clean, professional results that I was looking for...but the Fletch Lac Thinner gives me fabulous results every time I use it.
It stinks, but it works!
I have used this product many times before and it has never disappointed. Make sure to use in well ventilated conditions though.
Use this for thinning dip
very consistent
I would buy this product again
i use this product for gluing on nocks and feathers. it works great every time.
Love it
I've been using Bohning products for more than 15 years.
I don't know what the specs are for other lacquer thinners. However, I always use the Bohning products together. By doing so, I have never had any problems.
We tried Hardware Store laquer thinner one time we were out of Fletch Lac... Most of the paint ran off before it could set up. Stick with the Bohning thinner for their paints. It doesn't cost that much more.
Use Fletch Lac thinner for thinning Fletch lac paint. It's chemical composition marries each one together. Using another type of thinner will give you unhappy results. It's worth the little price difference to use all Bohning items with each other !!!
