Easy to install
I make bamboo backed traditional bows. Normally I would not use a stabilizer bushing. But with this longbow I wanted to add a threaded bushing so that I could attach my H.I.P.S. blind.I have found the H.I.P.S. blind to be very effective for turkey and deer hunting. The insert was easy to install. Just drill the hole and use epoxy and tap into place.
You will need to get the 7/16 drill bit if you to put our inserts in.
the pitch is going to be 16 .
7/16 will be the right size drill bit to use for this.
Dan Worden Sparrow Designs LLC Makers of Spinrite Cresters I have two versions. Not sure which I bought at 3-R. One is .375 dia x .575 long, the other is .390 dia X .690 long. Hope this helps.
Most epoxy will work for a stabilizer insert. The best epoxy is a slow cure, not the quick 5-10 minute types. I recomend AAE 2-part epoxy (Item #8139). It has a 24 hour cure time.
These are made of steel and are 3/4'' long.
3/4''
You will need to get the 7/16 drill bit if you to put our inserts in.
Yes that would work, but I would use a 2 part epoxy
These will be the same thread diameter but you may have to drill the plunger hole out just a little.
The front stabilizer insert is a standard 5/16- 24 .
7/16 is the correct drill bit size.
