I really enjoyed everything about this video. I have had it a couple week and watched it three times. Thad gives you a lot of useful information from brain tanning to arrow building.

Very informative !! Im glad SOMEONE had the courage to put out an old school dvd about survival , using the whole animal , and just an all out " outdoorsman " dvd . I look forward to more how to videos !!

Best DVD EVER!!!

This is by far the best primitive archery/primitive skills video I have ever watched. Thad knows his stuff!! I would give this DVD a AAA rating, and recomend it to anyone interested in primitive archery and primitive skills. From building yourself a selfbow, arrow making to the hunt. Then friction fire making and the many uses of the harvested animals. It will stir the primitive… read more hunter deep down in all of us. Good, but not great

for the bow hunter to be it is a fantastic way to get inspired. simple and accurate. but sometimes a little to quick about the topics. for example the flintknapping sequence, it was very quick over with. but again for the first time primitive bow I think its a great way to get started or at least inspired. it did inspire me.

I really enjoyed this DVD. Thad Beckum really steps back in time with his primitive style. He enjoys what he's doing and it shows. The title, "Full Circle" is lived out as he shows his methods of manufacturing primitive hunting equipment without the use of modern tools or other new age gadgets. He broadly covers everything from how he manufacturers his hunting points and arrows,… read more to how he brain tans his primitively killed deer hides to make the clothing he uses on his hunts. Once he shows you his methods of creating equipment, the same methods that have been used for hundreds of years, he takes you on a couple of his successful hunts. If you are interested in primitive hunting, or the methods used to re-create a primitive lifestyle of sorts this DVD is for you.

Great DVD!!!

This DVD was very entertaining and educational. It could be a little more in depth on some of the skills like arrowmaking. If everything else was as in depth ad the buckskin making process it would be perfect. With all that said, I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Unique Video

This is a very informative video, and just fun to watch. It is not as professional as some, but I enjoyed it all the same if not more. If you are interested in primitive, I believe you will like this, just a good old boy not at all caught up in the commercial hunting fad--as far from that as you can get. He jokes about the new compounds being made by NASA. He is sitting by a campfire… read more with his primitive stuff telling and showing how he makes, bows, cane arrows, stone points, buckskin and more. He even takes a couple of deers in the video with his primitive equipment. Go ahead and order it. I emailed Thad, and he said he is working on another primitive hunting video. I will get it as soon as it is available.
