These are the real deal. Bought them for some 1916 shafts to use with Woodsman broadheads. I HATE screw-in type broadheads. These take care of that problem nicely, plus if your arrows are just a tiny bit stiff, the extra weight brings your arrows into the proper spine easily. I will always use these with aluminum shafts.

Used these with some Zwickey broadheads I bought for a friend getting into traditional archery. Very reasonable on the price and prompt service and shipping as always.

The 5/16" carbon shaft insert part fits fine, but the broadhead adapter end is a sloppy fit in an 11/32"broadhead ferrule.

I ordered these to work on 340 Traditional Carbon shafts since I would rather glue broadheads/field points on rather than use Converta or screw-on type heads. These inserts fit into the carbon shaft nicely, but the broadhead adapter part will not fit 11/32" heads. Looks like that part is meant for some of those old 5/16" ferrule heads. It's a sloppy fit. In fact, nearly 1/4"… read more of the arrow shaft itself slides into the broadhead ferrule. These shafts come with screw-in type adapters which I guess I'll have to use with some of my 11/32" broadhead adapters. It actually looks like the brass glue-in/glue-on adapters (4930X) with their 11/32" ferrule would work---if you're interested in increasing weight out front.
No more loose broadheads.

I put these in 165gr. simmons glue on broadheads on gold tip traditional 15-35s with left-hand spiral fletch. these adaptors are the only way to go with left-hand fletching. NEVER have loose heads again. The only thing that could be better is to be able to get them in 11/32.

I bought these adapters to install snuffer broadheads on my carbon express 350 kv shafts. They were a snug fit and worked perfecty for installing my snuffer broadheads. there was one hitch in the plan the base of the broadhead is slightly larger than the shaft/adapter diameter. easily fixed be removing some extra metal from the back of the broadhead. I wanted a SOLID connection between my broadhead and my aluminum shafts. No wiggle, no noise, no turning, no weak link. These adapters are just the ticket. All the force of the arrow flight gets transmitted directly to the broadhead. It's pretty simple- since the broadhead doesn't screw in, it CAN'T unscrew.

i believe it adds strength to the business end of the arrow. With the ability to add weights it allows me to build the exact same broadhead weight in comparison with my practive arrows.
