Gold Tip Nocks
I find it difficult to get the color I want. Also nocks can come off when shooting 3D if I'm using weight tubes.
Quality
Gold tip makes a quality product that I have come to rely on. You can't go wrong with Gold Tip.
These are good nocks but you should know
I use these nocks exclusively, but have had to ignore Gold Tip's "no glue-in" admonishment. I shoot an 85# recurve in 3D competition, and frankly, if you don't glue these nocks in, they will eventually rotate on impact with targets, and have to be constantly checked and realigned. Since I shoot two-fletched arrows, proper nock alignment is very critical. I would love not to have… read more to glue them, but they just aren't tight enough to resist the momentum of a spinning arrow at impact with a 3D target from my bow. So I glue them in with a tiny drop of regular cyanoacrylate (CA). On the rare occasions that these tough but inexpensive nocks break, I simply remove the base and replace the nock. I do this easily by screwing in a field tip into the stump of the broken nock and giving a gentle tap to break loose the CA, and pulling out the rest of the nock. If the piece is stubborn a little heat from a cigarette lighter to the field tip will do the trick. I have determined that they function best from my bow when the string diameter is at .121", and I build my strings to meet those specs. I wont use any other nock.
Fits perfect
They fit perfectly in my GT devastators, nice and snug.

Great Gold Tip Nocks
The Gold Tip nocks are the best type of nock to put on your arrows. They are light and you don't have to do much to fit the nocks on the arrow and the bowstring.
Great nocks but not very durable
These nocks are very effective when used with the B50 Flemish bowstrings. They are not very durable though and have been broken from the vibration of the arrow hitting the target, so I don't recommend stump shooting.
Yes they will fit the nock adapters.
Yes they would work on that string.
GoldTip does not list the inside diameter. I came up with an approximate size of .115", but really need a set of pin gages to get more accurate results.

Flemish twist strings are sized by the number of strands (which is based on how many pounds of pull the bow is). Twelve through 18 strands is the range I have mostly seen. Since most serving material is pretty much the same size, you can use a dial mic to get diameter off any particular string. I took a one of my GT nocks, and pressed it onto several of my served strings/cables. I find the about .140" diameter is a very tight fit inside the nock throat. I think that .160" would very quickly snap one or both the ears off the nock. Hope this helps Bill >
You will probably have to have the string reserved so that your nocks will fit. If it is a custom string, have the builder redo it. If you bought it from a retailer, then you'll likely have to find a sting builder to fix it for you. Having the proper size serving for the nock is the best way to solve your problem. 540 Seven Oaks Road Boone, NC 28607-9163
Not sure on the actual inside dimensions of the nock valley, but so far i have had no problems with them fitting any of my four recurves and two compounds. I have purchased many of these and will say that they do fit either a little more or less snug on some strings than on others, but never too loose where they would just fall off when pointing the bow downwards. >
The nocks listed are sold by the dozen.
They are a translucent orange. As long as they are a .246 ID
They should fit fine, mine did. Bought my 3555 from a store and didn't like the color they came with. Switched to the ruby Gold Tip GT Series Nock. Hope this helps.
Yes the .246 will fit the 3555
The 0.246 nocks are the correct diameter for 3555 Gold Tips.
Yes, the .246" will fit your Gold Tip arrows. You can always check an arrow manufacture's Web site or catalog for those measurements as well.
