Great for building your own arrows
Easy to use
Very easy to make arrow weight adjustment while tuning arrows. No glue no mess.
Needed for FOC
Great product for adding foc. Love shopping at 3 rivers .
Perfect fit and easy to use
These weight inserts easily slide into the shafts of the 340 traditional only shafts. There is no slop but they do slide in perfectly. When using the installation tool, they do not just fall off the end and get lost on the ground. Everything snug up nice. While testing and tuning the arrows, I never had one get loose when installed into the back of the insert that was glues to the… read more shaft. However, just to be sure, I did add some blue loctite once everything was tuned just to make sure.
Finally I can adjust tip weight to fly with bare shaft!
I have balanced a bare shaft to fly to bullseye at 45 yards with a field point, hitting next to a broadhead. I can add and subtract weight to shoot lighter and heavier broadheads to experiment with differing broadhead designs for best results. I have been scraping the threads across a piece of beeswax to keep them from loosening, might mot work in hot weather (I'm in Maine). When… read more satisfied and done experimenting I'll use new weights and removable locktight. I also put beeswax on the tip of the wrench for a snug fit. To remove, hold the shaft tip up and keep spinning the arrow as you withdraw the wrench, or the airlock will trap the weight in the shaft. If it stays in, no problem, just push it back up and screw in tight, then unscrew and withdraw again with more spin.
Worked great
I use these to add fifty grains to the arrow at the point. It increases foc.
Great system
Using the spine calculator to find perfect weight then trim these weights down so they weigh in at my required weight. I can even allow for the weight of mounting glue.
Work good
Really helps tune your arrows. They will come loose after several shots so, retighten often or use lock tight
Exactly what I wanted and needed.
I needed to adjust the FOC of my 2016 Legacy shafts and maintain 475 GPRS. Total arrow weight. The 10 grain weight worked perfectly. The weight fits great in the insert and the weights are consistent.
Great Product!
Most convenient way to add weight to the front of arrows. Get an assortment of weights and the installation wrench and you are set to make your carbons fly like darts.
Yes, these will fit all spines of the Trad Only except the 600. The 600 is a narrower I.D.
These will fit ant shaft with a 0246 inside diameter or larger as long as you have inserts that except them .
This is not compatible with that bolt.
Yes these will work on the Warriors.
You would want to make sure that the back of your insert is tapped and threaded all the way thru to accept these weights. The standard inserts are not tapped all the way through to accepted these weights.
I believe the .246" ID will fit that arrow.
These are sold by the dozen. They have 50 grain weights so you don't have to combine the lower weights.
The HIT inserts are not threaded at the back end to accept weights.
I would not have one to try out unfortunately. They are the .246 ID size.
Yes these will fit the GT Hunter XT shafts.
