I shot a whitetail doe with this insert paired with the goldtip blemished arrows 600 spine. And a 50 pound black hunter longbow. I shot the deer on the ground at 20 yards and then again at 10 yards. I had 2 passthroughs and no damage to the insert. Great insert!

I use these with easton axis arrows. They are easier to install than the easton HIT and in my opinion more durable.

The Expedition hunter is a .246 inside diameter, and these accu tough inserts are made for a .204 inside diameter. So they will not work with those shafts.

What is the outer diameter of the insert that sticks outside the arrow? I bought the gold tip ballistic collars and they were too small. They will fit over the arrow but not the insert. I'm using Easton axis 300 spine.
