45# Bearpaw Horseman

This is best arrow for a 45 pound bearpaw horseman. The 35 50 arrow fits a 45 pound small recurve wuth a FF string. Dead bullseyes at 20 yards.

Good product for what it is

I bought these mostly for the look and to shoot something that resembles a medieval-style arrow at certain events. After just one day's shooting, one of the fletchings came unglued at the middle of the feather. Other than that, I've been pretty happy with them. The points are larger than the usual field points I use, so I only shot them at a couple pretty beat-up targets at the read more range because I didn't want to cause too much damage to the target, and I wanted to be able to get them out relatively easily.

Budget arrow but...

Good budget starter arrows. Cedar shafts, broke one on a hard edge, strong cedar scent. Have to replace Bodkin for my uses, do some minor tweaking of fletchings but out of the box getting pretty good grouping. Gets good comments on looks at events. Remains straight even after use in rain. Nicks in shaft sands out with some linen seed oil to reseal and returns gloss. Wish they could read more be ordered without Bodkin or Point.

Quick starter arrows but..

Even with replacing the tips a quick budget arrow. Use in SCA, although the shipped bodkin is not allowed on most SCA ranges. Some tweaking of fletching required but fly's fairly good out of the box. They are cedar, broke one that hit a hard edge, strong cedar scent. Do wish they could be ordered without the Bodkin.

Good for target practice. Bodkin head makes pulling out of standard fiber glass target a bit tricky.

Good looking, not great quality.

There is a reason that 6 of these arrows only goes for $45-$50, They look great, but they are cheaply made. one of my arrows arrived bent and broke the first time i fired it, and 2 others lost fletching after firing for about 1 hour of target practice. In short, if you are looking for a cheap arrow that makes your outfit look cool, buy these. If you are looking for good arrows that read more fly well and last a while, just remember that things are priced the way they are for a reason.

Overall, nice arrows

Arrows look nice, very period look and feel. Fly very straight. Shot a very nice practice round. Bodkin tips are nice, but tougher to get out of target, particularly foam. had one tip come off when doing so. Just needs re-glued. The arrows are pine, probably spruce or similar, making them a bit less durable. Had one break when it contacted the target frame. Broke in the fletching,so read more it is not salvageable. All in all, good arrows for the money, for a starter set of arrows, I can't complain much.
