At the range, in the woods, or out with the family - now you can easily keep a water bottle at your side while keeping your hands free. You won't notice this bottle holder when walking between targets. You can easily do one handed attach/removal of water bottle too. Weighs approximately 1.7 ounces; approximately 8" long. Wears on your belt. Will hold bottles with necks no smaller than 1-1/8" in diameter and caps no larger than 1-3/4" in diameter (This will easily hold any standard bottle). Will not hold a Gatorade bottle. Each Leather Water Bottle Holder is made with top grain cowhide, is hand dyed, and made in America, for a quality look and feel you will be sure to pull complements for at the archery range. To keep your Leather Water Bottle Holder looking its best, we recommend conditioning it with Montana Pitch Blend. ...read more

Finally something that works!
Staying hydrated is important for old and young alike. I've checked with three different types of water bottles & all have worked, including the 23+ oz sports bottle with the flip top. I have shot several 3D Shoots & did some range clean up, maintenance work which included raking, digging and the bottle never fell out. I do wear suspenders on pants and my quiver rig.
A must have for Hot Days on the Range
I normally carry a drink in my pocket, or just rely on water coolers being placed around an archery course when shooting 3D shoots during the summer. Carrying in my pocket adds unnatural weight that I can feel when walking or shooting. Depending upon an archery club to keep the water coolers filled can leave you 'high and dry' if shooters are filling up their own bottles with the… read more provided water. With the leather bottle holder I was first worried I would have a bottle swinging around that I would feel when shooting. Unless you are near running on the course it doesn't move enough for you to notice. When you are shooting it hangs still and as I put my hip quiver and accessories on their own belt, I do not feel the extra hanging weight as the bottle holder is on my left, and my quiver on my right. Only tip I have is make sure you have a decent bottle to use. If you go cheap and the ring right below the threads for the cap are 'flimsy' then the bottle may fall out once in a while. If you use a 'brand name' bottle o water, or any 16/20 oz. soda bottle, they have a ridgid ring that the bottle holder clips too. A great little accessory to have when shooting in the heat. You won't regret it. NOTE: I do work for 3Rivers Archery, but this was not a free item to me. I purchased it myself and can say it was money well spent.
