CD was so-so. Mostly standard info. I was expecting more as it came recommended by another "authority". Biggest take away is if you're going to be good you have to put in the effort.

Good to see a real coaching tape that teaches what a good shot should look like and how to develop one for yourself. I really liked the drills taught by Larry Yen and the Mechanics by Rod Jenkins. One thing you need to keep in mind is your will need to watch this several times (best right before and after your practice session) untill you learn your best shot sequence. This… read more is primarily about developing the best possible mechanics for your shot weather your a gap shooter or instictive, pay particular attention to Larry and Rod when they talk about BACK TENSION. It's, in my opinion, the most important part of the video.

I got the two pack vol 2 and 3. Volume two had all sorts of shooters from instintive to string walking, and I really enjoyed it. Vol 3 focuses on nothing but how to be a better GAP SHOOTER and AIMER. There is a big emphases on form, which is very important, but I think that a dvd called MASTERS OF THE BAREBOW, shouldn't devote all of its focus to aiming the arrow. It makes me… read more feel like the minority because I shoot instictive. Masters of the barebow should give its focus to instictive shooting. I believe instictive is the only way to truely appreciate the sport. Master of the barebow.
