Masters of the Barebow Volume 5
for me, confused a lot of learned info over the past 40 yrs!!!
I now have all 5 of these videos.
I now have all 5 of the Barebow series and love all of them. I learned a lot from them originally and frequently go back to one or another of the videos for a refresher for an enjoyable and relaxing rainy day practice session. This series has given me the opportunity to 'meet and know' some of the best traditional archers out there to learn from.
Another good video
I liked the presenters and the info presented, I would have given it 5 stars if it weren't for the distracting (for me anyhow) music/noise.
Good , but they just left out 'Ole Ken, in there! Masters!
Interesting!
Some good tips
Just finished watching Vol 5. Well done, and well produced, but I have to say I found the music very distracting. I mean seriously annoying. Beside that, the Jason Westbrock sections were great. His section on anchoring was thorough and well explained. Rod Jenkins has some form tips that I think will work for me. Dale's tips on gear were helpful. Not so sure I'll be grabbing a $799… read more riser any time soon, but the point on getting the best gear you can was well taken. Maybe it's because I listen to so much archery stuff, but I had heard a lot of this in other places, whether from Rod and Jason, or from other shooters. All in all, a really cool video, with plenty of practical info. all due respect to these accomplished archers.
Increase your accuracy!
After watching I wanted to go right outside and shoot. Very professionally done. I will be watching it again and using this DVD for reference to make myself a better shot.
10x
By far the best quality of the series. It is packed with informative instruction with varied options to fit your style of shooting. It is a great culmination to the series and explains some of the earlier instruction in a more in depth way. Great selection of shooters- keep it up and let's continue with #6!
They did it again!!
I enjoyed all the previous volumes but wondered what they could cover that would be helpful. Well it is perfect for new thoughts and ways to improve. The new format was interesting also. Thanks TVQ!
Great information and enjoyable to watch.
Couldn't wait to get out to the range and shoot after watching this video. Lots of food for thought also. I will watch it several more times to glean everything offered.
The Masters of the Barebow Volume 5 DVD will work in any DVD player. Postage for this item would be $24.99 for order up to $50.00.
This series will go over different shooting techniques, aiming methods, advice on proper shooting form and much more. I would highly recommend the series even after watching it a few times you will pick up on things you missed that can really help your shooting.
I have all 5 Masters of the Bare Bow DVD's, and have watched each DVD several times. I think this is the best DVD series on shooting traditional bows available. In volume 5, Rod Jenkins appears again, and expands on teaching techniques he introduced in earlier volumes. This is the first appearance for Jason Westbrock, who discusses his style of gap shooting. Dale Harch has appeared before, and discusses equipment choices and tuning. I believe this is the first appearance for Randy Cooling, who discusses realistic hunting practice. Denny Sturgis Jr. has appeared in this series before, and discusses face walking and target panic. I don't know if they planned for these DVD's to reach 5 volumes when they started this project, but it is a testimony to their success that they have. While these volumes are not exactly meant to be watched sequentially, there is a certain order to them, and it might be beneficial to watch them in order.
Great video lots of good info JimH
