Being a coach and barebow archer, this DVD delivers everything a novice to intermediate barebow archer needs. Even very experienced archers can revise and revisit this film for refresher courses. I use it in my training sessions as well as for my own viewing. The techniques described are accessible, simply explained and can be implemented immediately. I purchased MBB 1-4 as well as this DVD. The MBB series is very helpful but, the information is delivered in a very dry way and, at times, the information can feel as though it is being beaten to death. Not so with Modern Traditional! Ty Pelfrey delivers information in a very usable way. He hits on the key points in bow setup, aiming and other items and then moves on to actual… read more shooting. If you are looking to get started in string-walking this is the ONE DVD you need to get going.

90 percent of this Dvd is shown in the masters of the barebow volume II. I am referring to the instruction. And that portion was maybe 15 minutes long. This Dvd is 90 minutes long. So you have maybe another 5 minutes of instruction and the 70 minutes is useless. Of course this my opinion. A couple more useful bits of advice but overall very dissatisfied with the Dvd.

IMO, one of the best archery videos in recent years. Information on uphill and downhill shooting is great, as well as tuning the recurve. Awesome scenery to go with some great tips and information.
