I bought it just for cold weather to keep my winter coat sleeve out of the way of my recurve bow string. It stretched enough over the thick material and worked very well. It did stretch too much for light jacket or summer use but I have other arm protectors for that. Would be too hot for summer use I think, anyway. The product was to small normally when I buy a large size. I have no problem putting it on . With this arm band I wouldn't be able to get it on over a shirt sleeve or light jacket. Also I purchased the Camo arm band and the cano was only a inch and a half wide along the padding. I have a large black and blue mark where the bow string it my arm and the padding did nothing to protect… read more me.
Sizing not correct

There needs to be a better explanation on the sizing for these sleeves... going off the examples listed, I measured my arm and ordered what should have been appropriate size... what showed up was a sleeve to tight and shorter on my forearm than what the sizing indicated.

I'm a medium sized woman. I'm not sure what size to get. Length is less important than diameter around.
