Easy on the the fingers. Good feel of the string. You don't have to wear a glove.

I put these on all my "fun" bows.

I love these! I put them on all my "fun" bows. I have hunting bows and "fun" bows that I shoot in the back yard, you know, 35# re-curves from the 1960's. I love these on the fun bows because you can just pick them up and shoot without having to put on a glove. Everyone likes them since they are soft and feel nice when in use.

I will buy this product again

Not good for heavey bows

Works great!

I bought this to put on my 4 year old's recurve so we didn't have to deal with keeping up with a glove that would have been too big anyway. He loves it! It installed easily on the Flemish twist string with the help of some fishing line and white lithium spray. I will be installing one on my bow fishing bow.

Convenient value

Inexpensive and ridiculously convenient for the grab and go, spontaneous stump shoots.

Definitly worth trying

I was a tab user for the last two years. The tab worked very well ,could target shoot for hours but for hunting shoving the tab into my glove was less than comfortable. So i gave these finger savers a try. Fingers were a little sore the first day using them. But i've been using them for two weeks now and fingers feel fine after hours of practicing. Great product.

Does a good job easy to use.

They are there any time you want to shoot no thinking or planning. Just put your hand on it and pull and release. No pain.

They will work very nicely for your bow. The only problem that I have encountered with the finger savers is that they tend to not stay in place. So, make sure that your string is fully stretched and that you have the finger savers at the correct place on the string for correct arrow flight and then put a few spots of super glue on the finger savers. I obtained this from a local archery shop. I love it. Only problem is, I shoot one finger up and two below, and the inside of my index finger gets blistered after my release. It's JUST my index finger, and you can see it on the No-Glov as well. Any expl

I recommend using a glove or shooting tab it will give you added protection from the brass string nock that is causing the irritation to your finger.

These do not come with the cotter pin.

No they did not. I used a girls bobby pin (hair pin). I've used 5 years ago

No they did not. I used a girls bobby pin (hair pin). I've used them for bow fishing setups, but they "release" funny and kinda throw off your arrow flight for longer distances than bow fishing shots. Prefer a three finger glove or even a good quality tab better than the finger savers. Also try shoooting three fingers under as opposed to split finger. Good Luck!

The recurve bow I purchased had these pre-installed. How do you remove them from recurve string? I'd like to try using a glove, but not sure if they can be removed and put back on if I prefer the savers to the glove. Thanks!

It fits pretty tight on my string, so I probably could. I guess it depends on how many strands your string is. I use the B-50 flemish string from 3Rivers. I still use a knock point though. Worth trying I guess.

Is this something that you would recommend to someone new to hunting with a longbow? I am an experienced archer but new to this style. Not sure if it would be recommended for hunting deer, turkey etc.

The no gloves are great for young kids, bow fishing and even be a good idea for the recreational shooter, but for some one that wants to get the most accuracy, speed or takes their shooting serious I would recommend getting a good glove or tab.
