Great deal in youth arrows! Quality cresting makes them a nice step up from starter youth arrows. They're perfect for bows 20 to 35 pounds in draw weight. Constructed of quality 5/16" Port Orford Cedar wood shafts, then lacquer sealed. We 3-fletch with real 4" shield cut turkey feathers. Then they are mounted with 70 grain field points. We use 'target tips' instead of bullet-nosed points for better penetration on targets. Target tips also prevent arrows from bouncing out of the target. The arrows have florescent green Bohning Classic nocks. These arrows are sold ready to shoot. Measure 28" from the back of point to valley of the nock. Sold by the 6-pack. Nicely built and durable for target shooting
Well built and crafted given the price point. Beautiful in terms of looks too. I purchased the 6 pack, found them all straight with no flaws. However, their spine weight is not compatible with my 30# Stemmler fiberglass bow. Too stiff for my 30#'er. Going to try some other youth arrows now. I can't dock stars for an arrow because of spine mis-match.
Great shooter, but not durable enough for the price
These are very nice and thick arrows that shoot smooth and accurately, but I've already broken half of them in just a month of daily use. I've gotten more life out of much cheaper products.
Low FOC
I was skeptical about the point being only 70 grain, but sale enticed me to try first wood arrow for my 25 lb recurve. Sure enough, FOC is only ~9% (100 grain point would move it up to ~12%) -- don't understand build choice, therefore the 3 star rating. Otherwise, this is a well crafted arrow. Note these are significantly harder to pull out of foam targets than carbon arrows.
Outstanding price point for excellent quality
These are a thank-you gift for a scout camp we use for SCA events. I had originally planned to fletch my own, only to discover these which were considerably less expensive than the supplies I would have needed to do the job myself. I haven't commented on accuracy, etc. above as I won't be shooting them myself, but they are nicely fletched, varnished, and with cresting, much better… read more than many of the "youth arrows" I have seen on sale. This will help a Scouts group continue their archery program.
Great arrows for the price!
I love these arrows but i got one semi strait one. Other than that there great.
Old guy enjoys his youthbow shooting these awsome arrows.
We stared shooting these arrows in our shop. To break up the monotony. These great youth arrows helped us up our game.
Nice arrows
Only problem I had was the kids arrows won't stay on the string of a kids bow I bought, after putting on some waxed dental floss, they stay on the bow and the kids are happy!
Splendid Arrows
Attractive, well made, and inexpensive arrows. After experimenting with several "youth" arrows for my wife's 20# vintage Bear recurve, these are the best so far. The pictures don't quite do them justice. They have a beautiful classic look.
Excellent Product
Matched these arrows with a Samick Polaris 25# bow worked very well.
Great arrows!
Real nice arrows! Well made, beautifully fletched nice tips. They penetrate straw bales well.
These are wooden shafts with field points glued on.

These are already prefletched with the yellow barred and white hen feathers. Unfortunately we would not be able to change the color of the fletchings on this.
These will range from 30-40 spine.
The spine is not consistent. Neither are the arrow weights. The sort answer is, they will vary between 30-35 and 35-40. I have not measured the spine distribution of the several dozen I have. I partition them for different bows by paper tuning them. This, of course, does not result in lots of equal weight. At my 26" draw length I can partition groups of arrows for longbows from 35# to 42# at 26". Most will work with a 37# at 26" recurve. For a 35# at 26" recurve I need to partition out the weaker/lighter arrows. These could be used for adult (an adult with a short draw length such as me) target shooting if you get a bunch and partition out a consistent lot that works with a given bow. My local club is sufficiently isolated that a 3D course can be left out continuously and I use these for fun shooting by myself so I don't worry, too much, about the cost of lost or broken arrows. Not part of your question but I like the 70 grain field points for light weight bows. I have ordered high quality 30-35 and 35-40 spine arrows cut to 28" with 70 grain points to, sort of, match these.
They are for a half dozen arrows.
Price is for 6 arrows. I got them for my son. They look great and seem high quality.
These are a 5/16 inch diameter shaft
The diameter of these arrows is 5/16" or 8 mm.
They be a little wide for a 12 strand string If you bumped up to a 14 strand they would be tighter.
Yes and no. I got these for my girlfriend and they tend to slip off of the string. I would recommend serving the knocking point heavily or having the archer put a thumb on top of the knock while drawing. If the archer shoots split fingers it probably wouldn't be an issue. Either way the quality of these arrows is too good to pass up for the price. Hope this helps.
250 grains without the point.
The arrows come with the point already attached so I think it means that is the weight,"with the point".They are great arrows, perfect for regular straight or re-curves up to about 45#.
The finished weight of this arrow is approximately 250 grains with out point.
The finished weight of this arrow is approximately 250 grains
They average about 380 grains with point. The 6 pack I tried had a low of 370 and high of 410. The FOC is only 9 (a 100 grain point would bring it up to 12 FOC-- don't understand why built with only 70).
i don't know the weight but they fly nicely out of a 25# youth longbow.
