The wensel's have made another attempt at trying to capture that feeling we all get in the fall during our hunting but that's something that can never be captured. Great high quality production but Barry & Gene need to get back to the type of video that we know they can make like Bowhunting October whitetails & High noon bucks.
A example of true conservation.

This is the best of the best. I have watched this movie perhaps 40 times and never get tired of it. It is a benchmark that all hunting movies should be measured against. In a world of punk music, incoherent babbling, and bias marketing of bogus products this production is a much needed cool drink of water in a other wise dessert of trash disguised as outdoor entertainment.

Cinematography is great. great showcase for ethical hunting and nature appreciation. Can be a little long-winded at times, a lot of footage showing game walking around and browsing. those with short attention span (like me) might struggle to stay interested. second half of the film shows a taste of hunting, some great footage of hunters in the woods, observing game and just enjoying… read more nature. commentary is well intended and obviously comes from the heart of true hunters who care about nature, but can be a little on the introspective side. Endless footage of nature and game, but not much for the arrow shooter. well made though, and with a good message.

Absolutely awesome! The Wensels are such an impressive duo! The amount of work that obviously went into this production is unimagineable. The imagery is phenomenal and the writing and naration are deep and meaningful. A must-see for any bowhunter or anyone who doesn't see why the bowhunter is a conservationist.

This is a very well made DVD. I am so happy to finally watch a hunting dvd that is not constantly pushing a product down my throat. I would have given it 5 stars but there are very few harvests at all in the film. I wanted to see more arrows hitting game. I don't care about product placement, I just wanted more arrows in flight. With that said, I still feel this DVD is a must own… read more for every bowhunter. It describes exactly why we are drawn to hunt, and does so with beautiful music and landscapes, they just could have added more arrows hitting game while the nice music was playing. A beautiful and touching film, I am very happy to own this product and will watch it happily multiple times a year to fill the void until hunting season rolls around again.

I must say I was very dissapointed with this DVD. I understood it to be a "different" kind of hunting video, but I expected at least a little bit of actual hunting footage. This is a nature show that talks about hunting. There was one deer shot on camera. Really? I knew going in this was a differnt kind of dvd, but at least expected some hunting. Bottom line, They could have taken… read more out the very few turkey and deer kill shots and called it a nature series. If I wasn't in Afghanistan right now I'd send this dvd back.
