Saunders Mono Shooting Tab Review

Don't Recommend

I wouldn't recommend this tab for a beginner. It's very slick and makes me feel as though my grip is not strong or secure enough. During my introduction to archery (using a recurve bow) I used a leather tab, which feels more organic and soft not only on the fingers but on the face as well. This synthetic material is hard and sharp against my face when releasing. I've let out one… read more or two yelps during my recreational shooting. In attempts to remedy this, I've been messing around with it (bending it, curling it, etc.) hoping to soften it or loosen it up. No such luck. I don't recommend this tab.

Wet weather

This is the only tab that I used for years in Oregon. It's the only one that survived the soggy weather. I have several. It's a smooth release. Unless I go to a trigger release, this will probably get my vote as least subject to shooter erratic release

Pretty good tab!

First and foremost, we are operating under the knowledge that this tab is only [$]. That being said, this is a pretty darn good tab! I shoot a 40 pound trad-recurve and this little sucker does just fine. It does feel extremely slick and synthetic, which I don't entirely enjoy. However I'm pretty sure that's also just a general tab "thing," it's also very minor and has no real… read more significance, just a small personal comment. That same slickness provides a very adequate release. At the same time, it doesn't feel like it can handle any sort of very rough handling. However I feel like that is totally fine since it is just a tab and has one very simple job.Since shipping is relatively the same price as this tab, I would totally recommend buying it if you need a tab and are already purchasing other products.

Awesome tab!!!

Great shooting tab for hunting...bowfishing too. Smooth release, good protection,light weight,works when wet and a great price to boot. You just can't go wrong with this tab and cheap enough to have a few laying around. Also I use this tab for 3 fingers under, still works great.

Okay

its nice and durable but it doesnt offer much protection , but of course it will work for kids with low poundage bows but for i have a 33 pound bow and it still hurt my fingers , id rather spend a little more money for a better tab
