Has made removing arrows somewhat easier. Haven't had a chance to use it much yet but can't see how it won't work....it's slippier than all get out!

I bought this mostly because of article written by dr.Ashby in wich he speaks about improving penetration on big game animals and how this lubricant could be used for this purpose. I didn't shot any animal yet,but judging by my tests on my homemade targets and stump shooting,this lubricant really does its job-it's really,really slick and in combination with i.e.water from the grass… read more holding an arrow becomes very much like holding a fish! After these tests,I'm using it as instructed,only on the tips of my arrows and I found it to be quite durable-it takes about six shots into a dry,paper box target to wear it off.

I haven't had any issues applying it to a wood shaft. I would suggest trying it on a small area just to make sure it doesn't harm the finish.
