These TopHat® Stainless Steel Insert/Outserts add weight and length while reinforcing your carbon arrow shafts. A great alternative to Easton HIT inserts. Made from stainless steel, these inserts/outserts stand up to lots of use. You'll save lots of money by protecting your arrows. Plus, you can add FOC (front of center) weight. These are extremely tight fitting on FMJ 400s. While attempting to align broadheads, I felt a crack and the epoxy broke free. That being said, I can't actually re.ove the insert. Pretty sure the tight fit scraped all the epoxy off of the raised section of it. On 400s, they don't work.

Got these for the Easton N-Fused Axis Full Metal Jacket and the insert goes in without any resistance. Is this normal?

I've used these and Ethics brand both, and both of them slip in with very, very little resistance. Installed with the Easton HIT epoxy, I've had zero issues with them. (Follow prep instructions)
