Amazing additions

Dude bro

Easy swap out your target arrows with hunting arrows? Yes please! I was cautious optimistic about these and they exceeded my expectations. Don't buy the related compression and Install tools, they aren't needed. I mounted them on new arrows with minimal sanding for a snug fit. Weeks worth or target shooting with zero issues and no accuracy loss when compared to other normal wooden read more arrows.

Works great if can cut threads

If you can get a thread cut on the shaft (threading tool did not fit matching shafts well - too tight), it works great. Have shot the arrows several times and have not had one even get loose. I have used the Bear Convertapoints before and had good luck, was hoping this would be a step up.

It would be nice if the ad said that a threading tool was required. It just said no taper or glue required. At least place the two items on the same page. That's my only complaint- you are a great company. Thanks- Rich

I like the ability to change points at the drop of a top hat

Hardwood shafts

These may work fine on POC shafts (haven't tried yet) being a softer wood, but are impossible to screw onto a hardwood shaft. The threads just will not cut into the wood. The TopHat thread cutting tool does not work either for the same reason. I did get them to work , however, by drilling out the threads with the proper sized drill bit, making them a parallel slide on fit which read more will depend on a good glue, and/or pin, to hold them on. I do like the concept they create, however, and WILL use them regardless.

Great product!

Is ther some way to color these alum adapters? I have tried Nail Polish, and cresting paint, but both just rub off when dry, even when I roughen the adapter with sandpaper.

We have never tried doing that but I would guess a primer/paint 3 years ago

We have never tried doing that but I would guess a primer/paint would do it.

Asked by Jake 7 years ago

Since the adapters add an inch and a quarter to the arrow, should we adjust the arrows length on the spine chart to account for the added length? I'm trying to figure the best weight for the my field tip/broadheads.

The length is not only what will affect the spine. The weight seems to affect it a little more. I would focus on the overall weight you have on the front before I would worry about the additional length.

In my opinion, since it is better to have a longer arrow (for broad head safety) I would not adjust. Remember also that the charts are useful, but may not be precise.  Sent from my iPad
