A Must Have!
This is a must have reference book. This series is one of the best I've ever come across on traditional archery. So much information in such a small space. Get them all.
This book does not go into great detail on traditional English longbows. There will be more information on the construction of English longbows in 1 and 2.
For making bows out of branches I would go with the DVD 7528-1 primitive bow and arrow
3Rivers sells all the parts necessary to build your own bows and arrows. We have kits for primitive bows (http://www.3riversarchery.com/Bow+Building+Primitive+Kits_c49_s201_p0_thumb.html) and as for arrows we have a primitive arrow kit for a replica arrow, but have all the parts for building your own shoot-able arrows http://www.3riversarchery.com/Arrow+Building_c52_s0_p0_cat.html
