I attached a flashlit to this unit for when I am bowfishing. I have strapped it to a GoPrimal take down folding bow. Is tight and fits great

Great for mounting front drum-type bowfishing reel system to traditional bows without front stabilizer insert. Not good for Zebco type reel mounts due to the amount of pressure that could be applied to the mount when fighting a fish.

I have owned this product for about 5 years and haven't had any major problem with it. It doesn't harm the bow and holds the reel very well. The only con is that you have to be careful when threading the bolt for the reel. The plastic has a tendency to strip if not threaded properly. Other than that, great product and I would recommend it for any bow fisherman.
Should not be over looked!

Just wrap straps around riser untill snug, push holes in straps over metal pin. Idiot proof! will not harm your bow!

I have a synergy reel with the reel seat and mini pole. It came with a chief aj fishing sling shot that i was not impressed with. I was wondering if i could use this to attach my set up to a horse bow or another type of recurve.

just want to confirm, by looking at the picture this will not work to mount AMS style reels. Looks like it works only on stabilizer bushing type reels.

The Traditional Gadget Adapter will mount on the front of the bow just below the grip. This a must for any one wanting to put a screw on bow fishing reel on a bow that does not have the front stabilizer bushing installed.
