I ran a Designed Experiment that tested fletching material, length and configuration. I tested in extreme winds and I simulated Wet Conditions. I tested a similar Feather of the same length and it out performed other length feathers in the test especially in the wind. . The TrueFlight 2" has higher quality than the 2" feathers I tested and they are more consistent than other Brands read more Feathers of similar length. This 2" Feather in a 4 fletch 90 degree configuration handles wind very well while keeping noise level very low.

I'm looking to build a high foc arrow for my compound setup for 2021 season and considering feathers. Im going to bareshaft tune heavily, have a right helical, and be in the 700+ grain range at 250+fps and 17% foc. Which would most likely be the best choi

If an arrow is properly bare shaft tuned you should not need muc 4 years ago

If an arrow is properly bare shaft tuned you should not need much feather to help steer it.

When using 2" and 3" feathers with offset is it still necessary to follow the rule of helicals.IE, left wing feathers must have left wing helical, left wing offsets must be left. I use a blitz dial-o-fletch and it seems to me that its possible to do oppos
