Gret Product!
My experience with this is exactly as in the video. I don't know when I bought my first one, has grommets. I have shot it thousands of times, using wood and aluminum. As with any bag target, if the tip or insert is not flush with the shaft it will snap on the fibers. Even so, this target has held up amazinglywell. I have shot at the same spot over and over with only fading (as shown… read more in video). i fill the bag with waste (scrap) kevlar from a local outfit that produces logging chaps. I purchased another bag recently as an addition, not a replacement. I have purchased blocks made of foam, as well as other commercial bag targets--none have held up as this has. I can't understand the negative reviews; has dots, deer don't have dots, no grommets, etc. Heck, how many white deer have you seen out there! The video shows what you're getting, downgrading a product when you could have found it would not serve your needs from the outset, is pretty lame in my opinion. The price of the bag is not much more than the price of a replacement cover for a commercially available unit--some of which I have given to friends. Good bag period, regardless of price!...
Great value! This is my 4th one. Very durable.
I keep one set up in my back yard so I can shoot a few arrows anytime without a lot of effort.
Yes
This is about the 4th one I've bought. Filled the 1st one with old cloths. worked perfectly. When bag wears out just take old cloths out and stuff in new bag. Repeat as needed.
Yes definitely
a great way to get rid of old clothing, makes a great arrow target, just keep it dry and it can get heavy when full, but overall a great target for a person on a tight budget
Great Target
Just plain great deal, quality target, fill and use, lasts forever.
Pretty decent bag for the $$$
Stops arrows from my 45-50lb longbows well, although the bag itself perhaps not as tough as I would have liked; it seems to tear more easily than my factory targets. I'd like to see larger versions, too. I stuffed mine with an assortment of plastic bags, ranging from newspaper delivery bags to shopping bags to heavy-duty seed and mulch bags. The velcro closure works very well.… read more I stuff some bags in, step in or sit on the bag, and then stuff more.
Not what I expected
Bag was not as big as my last bag. My old bag had grommets in the corners for easy hanging from ropes. This bag just had the corners folded over and stitched. I prefer a bag with no targets on it. Deer do not have bullseyes painted on them.
Replacement target bag
I pulled out the bulk fiber packing of a prior bag and forced it into this one. The fibers hung up on the velcro and I had a heck of time cleaning it off. The bag is sturdy and I have just gotten started using it. It looks and feels tough and durable but it is VERY noisy when the arrow penetrates the bag. I hope that this settles down after a while.. It remains to be seen if… read more the pros outweigh the cons and whether this bag is worth the difference in price from a plain old feed bag.
Great deal
A great money saving product!! Durable cost effective and allows me to recycle the stuffing material in my old targets. I will buy more and recommend to friends.!
Great Idea
I am waiting to see how well this is going to hold up to use on my range, only time will tell
This target has folded corners, no grommets.
Each of the circles is 5".
You can use it ether way.
They are still using the sewn, folded over corners.
Plastic grocery bags, old clothes and strips of burlap or nylon screen works great.
