Good product
Bought these to make a set of older xx75s accept an uninock. Does exactly that.
Look good but much heavier than advertised.
Ordered these because I love the concept of reducing the chances of splitting my arrows due to tight groups. Had my FOC right where I wanted it. With an advertised weight of approx 5 grains, combined with the advertised weight (approx 6.25 grains) for the g nock; their sum of approx 11.25 grains would actually be just under the 11.8 grains of my current nock, and I figured I could… read more actually gain a wee bit of FOC. Well, the g nocks are a very consistent 6.6 grains...not bad. But these uni bushings are 8.4 grains...kills my current FOC and I will likely go to a weighted front insert to get it back...which I had hoped to avoid. I am very pleased with their consistency and quality, just wish they would advertise the correct weight.
Uni Bushings
These work as advertised.
Worth it ?
Don't know if this is worth the added cost of building an arrow since they come with nocks when you order them. Might make a difference if I was grouping arrows so tight that they needed the extra protection, but I'm not there yet. So I can't see any real benefit other than making my arrows look nicer than I shoot.
Just what I needed and ordered
Exactly as ordered, as advertised. With extra info such as what nocks to use with these Unibushings. Info I couldn't find else where. I can use "S" nocks or "S Super" nocks. Thanks to 3 Rivers I now know which lighted nocks I can use also. Thanks 3 Rivers.
Better than the plastic ones
Replaced all the plastic bushings on my Easton Gamegetter aluminum shafts where 10 of 12 had cracked or broke. Since replacing with the Uni Bushing (aluminum) I haven't had a single problem with the nocks.
Carbon Arrow Nock Protection
The 3Rivers G Uni Bushings were a perfect fit for the Carbon Tech Cheetah 400 shafts. They fit the I.D of the shaft, and the shaft of the G nock as well. One of the nicer side benfits is that these were 5 gr. in weight as compared to 12 gr. for the comparable Easton CB bushings, so they did not stiffen up the arrow as much. These G Uni bushings with Easton G Nocks improve the… read more durability of the nock end of light carbon shafts.
Every Arrow
I have started to use these with all of my arrows that will allow. That list currently includes TO 500's and 600's, LightSpeed 3D's, and ICS Bowhunters. The only arrows I use with out the uni bushings are the MFX and that is just due to size restrictions. I love that I can use the G nock on all of my arrows. Makes it easier to jump between different shafts and not have too… read more much or too little pinch on the string. Every little bit of consistency helps.
Robust construction
I use these as replacments to the plastic bushings that come standard in the Game Getter arrows and feel they are a great upgrade. They outlast the life of the arrow and allow easy adjustment of the nock.
Next best thing to peanut butter
I shoot competitive 3d and NFAA competitions and the ability to match my arrows to each other is all important. These bushings give me that consistency and if a nock gets damaged i can replace and realign quickly.
The uni bushing is 9 grains and the super nock is 12.73 gr.
No they will not. The A Nock is .204 and the smallest .231 for the bushings.
I'm afraid we do not have a UNI-bushing that fits a .204" ID shaft. Gold Tip does though, and you can find it here: https://www.3riversarchery.com/gold-tip-accu-bushing.html As for what size to use depends on your spine, and they do not have a chart for using with your Easton shafts, but you really wont see a big lip either way you go.
Yes , they will take the S nock .
No they will not work with those arrows .
Yes they are sized for 2018 aluminum arrows.
Unfortunately I am not aware of any one who does.
The .2445" Carbon Express would be the correct one.
The Traditional Only/ Beman ICS would be the same size.
The Carbon Express .2445" will be the same for the Vintage shafts.
