Woodyweights® were developed by a lifelong traditional bowhunter looking for a better way to add weight to his wood arrows. Woodyweights® not only add weight to wood arrows, they add weight to the front of the shaft achieving the advantages of a weight forward arrow. Weight forward arrows straighten more quickly in flight, have more stable arrow flight, and give better penetration than standard arrows. This Light Test Kit includes six Woodyweights® - two 75 grain, two 100 grain, and two 125 grain. This system allows wood arrow bowhunters the ability to increase the weights of their arrows and adjust the amount of weight forward. Yes, the shafts need to be tapered for the glue on woody weights in order to have the most surface contact possible for the glue. Also, make sure to clean the inside and outside tapers with an abrasive material for the glue to adhere too. Adam Jimmerson

How much length will a 100 gr Woodywt add to my arrow shaft (i.e. what is the Woodywt length not including its taper)?
The 100gr Woodyweight will give you another 1/2".
