About Silver Flame XL 2-Blade Screw-In Broadheads
Silver Flame broadheads have proven themselves as the toughest, sharpest, most lethal 2-blade broadhead in existence. The Silver Flame XL expands from that with a wider 1.5" cutting width, while the XXL has a 1.81" cutting width. Made of 440B Stainless steel (XXL is 440C) main blade in cut-on-contact convex design to be the most efficient cutting edge and put more steel up front where it is needed for strength. The main blade measures .071" thick. The Silver Flame is heat treated to a 58 on the Rockwell scale to hold a razor sharp edge. The 11/32" ferrule is CnC aircraft grade Aluminum with stainless steel screws. The length ranges from 1-5/8" up to 2" depending upon grain weight. Razor Sharp right from the package. Designed to fit all carbon and aluminum arrows as they have an industry standard 8-32 thread. This is the same thread used by all arrow inserts (except Easton Deep Six).
