Beautiful little bow!

This little bow is beautiful! My 3 year old son shoots it well and absolutely loves it. The traditional bow is a noticeably more comfortable style for my little guy than the compounds he's shot previously. Thank you for taking the time to make a quality kids bow for the future archers!

Great starter bow for a young archer!

My 5 year old son is exploring his interest in archery. He draws this bow fairly well with room to go yet to reach full draw. It is easy to string/unstring and appears to be a high quality product. Not to mention Made in the USA too!

I would certainly buy this product again.

If your child has been watching mommy or daddy shooting a recurve or longbow for bow practice, this that step for a 4-year-old child. Superb bow. Just truly.

Outstanding for small frame 8 year old girl. She loves it.

Olivia loves this bow. I am very happy with the purchase. All I can say is thank you for offering a great product at a great price. Don't waste time driving around looking at the so called sporting goods stores. Order it from 3 Rivers.

I bought this bow for my seven years old son. The quality of materials and the construction are really good. It just looks and shoots like any of my other hunting bows. All in all a great first traditionnal bow !

Great Quality Youth Bow

I purchased the 48" Pilgrim Youth Longbow for my daughters, aged 7 and 9, to introduce them to the sport of archery. Right out of the box, I was very impressed with the quality craftsmanship. They love it! Looks great, rather easy for them to handle (especially my 9 yr old), and something they will be able to enjoy for a very long time. I also purchased the youth quiver, youth read more arm guard, a dozen 26" youth arrows, and Limbsaver bow stringer. I recommend all of these to complete the package. Very happy I purchased a quality bow from a quality dealer, rather than a cheap set from the Local Box Sports Store. Note: My 9 yr old daughter is 4' 11" and the 48" bow is the perfect size for her with room to grow. It's a bit large and challenging to draw for my "just turned" 7 yr old, but I'm sure she will grow into it in no time at all. She was "sticking" cardboard box targets by the 2nd day!

Awesome Youth Bow

Bought this bow for my 3.5 year old son. It's well made, shoots straight and he can draw it without a problem. Three Rivers came through again with fast shipping right before Christmas. Awesome bow, awesome company.

I bought this for my 5 1/2 year old. Much nicer in person than shown in picture. Very happy witht he quality of wood and workmanship...Neither of us are experienced and we'll see how well it goes as we improve as to whether or not its a "good" bow and arrow as neither of us are skilled enough to judge. But I am very happy with it.

Awesome bow and fast shipping

I would like to introduce my son to archery. He is currently 5.5 years old and will be 6 in February. He is tall for his age. I tried a couple methods to measure his draw length. I measured his wingspan (44") and divided by 2.5. This gave me an 18" draw.

Hi Dad, I bought the same Pilgrim recurve for my grandson for Christmas. (Same exact age as your son.) He loves it and it shoots well. I thought the inset recurve arrow rest would be easier for him to deal with than the true longbow. It was more or less handmade or a limited production. Osage wood. Can’t tell you a draw length as my grandson is on the west coast. I bought wood youth arrows and trimmed them down. Best of luck. He’ll like the bow.

I have a 10-year-old son who is tall but does not weigh much. I'm looking for a bow that will not be too hard for him to pull but that is the appropriate size for his age. Would the #20-22 bow be ready for him?
