Arrow Dynamics Stinger is a parallel-to-taper carbon shaft that utilizes conventional components. The tapered shaft creates better fletching clearance allowing for a quicker recovery from the paradox and translating more of the bow's kinetic energy to the arrow. This unique taper allows for more EFOC (Extreme Front of Center) weight without having to add weight tubes or heavyweight points. With EFOC you will see better penetration on big game, and tighter groups with pin-point accuracy. A full length bare shaft with a 145 grain point generates more than 20% EFOC. ...read more

Definitely wouldn't buy again.
My 6 shafts had different logos or branding on them all cut the same length but the weight was way off like 60 gr difference from arrow to arrow and 3rivers is changing a restocking fee for a bad product ill definitely be going elsewhere from now on.
Made in USA
Really like the weight forward parallel to taper design. I get really good accuracy as the arrow recovers quickly along with increased forward of center. The best part is they are made in USA.
Great shaft for weight forward setups
I like the standard size inserts and compatible with Easton G nocks. Seem to be quite consistent in weight and straightness. Forgot to weigh the unfinished (500 spine)shaft but my finished arrows weight 413-419 grains with 150gr points 6" wrap and 4x4" feathers. I weighed the whole dozen just to be sure.
Very misleading GPI
I bought the arrows thinking the bare shaft was 280 @ 32"(as advertised online) and they only weighed 240, I cut one arrow assuming they were the said weight and at that point it was too late to return. 3 rivers said that was the acceptable tolerance and would not even offer 50 grain inserts to make it right. I'm not happy and will take my business elsewhere.
Please give us a call at 260-587-9501 and we can see what we can do for you.
Because they are tapered, you can only cut from the front. If you cut the rear, your nock will not fit! Point diameter would be 5/16"
Cutting from top end does bbn little to.effect.dynamic spine. Cutting from neck end may stiffen some. Takes standard 5/16 insert for point
We only offer the Black shafts at this time.
